The humbucker, housed in a tortoiseshell-look pickguard, harmonises perfectly with this particular combination. Both coils can be activated separately via a switch, which like the volume and tone pots is located on the black control plate. Roseacer

Rosewood is a particularly hard wood that has long been popular as a material for making guitar and bass fingerboards. This wood is now considered endangered, however, and resources are scarce and expensive – which is why guitar makers have already spent several years searching for alternatives. The wood that Harley Benton has chosen as a fingerboard material for this electric bass is a type of thermally treated maple known as “roseacer” (a word coined from “acer”, the name of the genus to which maple belongs). The heat treatment to which the wood is subjected reduces its water content to around three percent, which prevents subsequent shifting or warping and increases the wood’s stability while also giving it a visual appearance similar to that of rosewood.

Voor deze prijs 😎 kun je deze niet laten staan . Ben zelf gitarist en wilde er graag een basgitaar bij hebben voor in mijn studio . Deze Bas ziet er goed uit en speels echt goed . Het geluid is ook prima . Ik kan deze Bas banket vergelijken met iets anders ,maar ik ben er tevreden mee . Dus voor een eerste Bas gitaar er gewoon voor eentje erbij , Harley Benton heeft er een voor jouw .
Ook mijn leerlingen raad ik producten van Harley Benton aan , je eerste gitaar , versterker 💪🏻 gewoon goed en betaalbaar .

Voor deze prijs een geweldig instrument

Pluspunten:
- Prachtig instrument, iedereen die hem ziet is onder de indruk van hoe mooi hij eruit ziet.
- Klinkt gewoon goed, zoals hoort bij een stingray.
- De snaren die erbij geleverd zijn zijn topsnaren.
- Speelt gewoon fijn
- De prijs

Minpunten:
- Afwerking heeft zijn gebreken, maar voor deze prijs zijn die allemaal te negeren.
- De set-up toen hij aankwam was slecht, maar de nek een klein beetje verstellen loste het grootste probleem al op.
- De stemmechanieken zijn slecht, maar wederom, voor deze prijs is dat een verwaarloosbaar probleem. Misschien dat ik ze ooit vervang.
- De knoppenlayout is raar, maar het werkt wel gewoon, dus niks om over te klagen.

Over het algemeen voor deze prijs een heel goed instrument.

Geweldig instrument voor een zeer betaalbare prijs

Speelt goed, klinkt redelijk goed en ziet er zeer goed uit!
HB heeft hier een goed instrument op de markt gezet die zeker niet slecht speelt.
De passieve elektronica is wat mij het minst bevalt. Wanneer de knoppen in een bepaalde stand staan is er een lichte brom waarneembaar, wat eigenlijk niet zou mogen.
Maar over het algemeen (en gezien de lage prijs) een zeer goede bas, zeker voor de beginnende bassist die graag een Musicman Stingray zou willen. Deze lijkt er zeker op en klinkt een beetje als een Musicman

Goede basgitaar voor weinig geld

Goede basgitaar met goed speelbare nek, solide gebouwd en goed geluid uit de standaard pick-up. Voor de prijs krijg je niet beter!

Had een klein beetje afstemming nodig, maar was al redelijk goed uit de doos.

Een van de stemmechaniek-bladen zit iets los en zijn de volume/toon knoppen niet echt geweldig, maar ik ga de bas toch ombouwen.
