The Harley Benton G212Plus V30/Creamback is a wallet-friendly guitar speaker cabinet with an angled front panel, and it sounds great thanks to the world-renowned, high-quality speakers it's fitted with. That's right, it's powered by a 12" Vintage 30 driver and a 12" G12M-65 from the legendary British brand Celestion, which still makes its speakers in the UK. Since the hard rocking days of the '60s and '70s, Celestion's Greenback speakers have been synonymous with straight up Rock & Roll sounds; the Vintage 30 driver is based on the popular Alnico speakers of the 1960s, which also found use in much of the Rock music of the 1980s and 90s. The Creamback in turn revives that classic Greenback sound, but adds a modern twist – it's built to handle more power. As for looks, this cab leans into the vintage vibes with its black Taurus tolex covering and a matching black cloth grille, accented by white piping trim.

This cab does it all and sounds amazing doing it

From time to time you are wowed by some products. In the last month I have had and owned this cab i will say it is a BEAST its smooth as well it will punch and growl. It will take whatever you throw at it. I have used 4 different amps with mine. Peavey 6505 plus, Egnater Vengeance, Mesa Boogie Dual Rec and Fender Dual Showman. Using this cab on the stage or in the studio I cant find any issue. It simply just sounds great, and meets all the appointments to take a beating from playing live. I would highly recommend buy this cab to everyone. It is just a great, affordable and well build cab that sounds great no matter if you play 6, 7 or 8 string every night on the stage as I had done... This cab is 12 on a scale from 1-10

Cheap and sounds great!

Very happy with the v30 creamback mix. If I want to hear more warmth, I stand to the right of the cab (creamback) , or if I want more brightness, I stand to the left (v30). They do compliment each other well also.

I would however like to see a vid on the Thomann YT channel on how to remove the back pannel because it's really tight and I can't get a grip on the back plate.

Das hab ich gesucht!

Wie viele andere auch, bin ich auf der Suche nach dem perfekten Setup. Für mich ist das Zuhause im Keller, wo ich niemanden störe und somit auch mal über 90db gehen kann.
Dafür hab ich angefangen über kleine Amps und danach Modellers mit FRFR Speakern nun mein bisher bestes Setup gefunden.
Mit dem UA Dream geh ich Stereo-Wet auf 2 Headrush 108 und in der Mitte steht nun dieser 2x12er von Harley Benton mit einem Ampero Endverstärker. Das Resultat ist ein für mich himmlisches Wet-Dry-Wet mit einem starken, fundierten Dry-Sound, welches auch unter 85db noch richtig gut klingt.
Wenn man richtig aufdreht, steht man richtig im Sound drin und spürt wie die Luft bewegt wird.

Ich kann das Ding wärmstens empfehlen Die Speaker-Combi ist vielseitig und die Box erstaunlich wertig gebaut.

Ich habe ihn natürlich auch mal mit meinem Princeton Reverb ausprobiert und auch da war ich hin und weg vom Mehr an Ton, Klarheit, Wumms und Körper. Vor allem wenn es dann in die Verzerrung geht, merkt man den Unterschied.

Gute Box zum fairen Preis

Ich habe mir die Box bestellt, weil mich die Lautsprecherkombination von V30 und Creamback in zahlreichen Speakertest-Videos auf Youtube immer sehr angesprochen hat.

Die HB-Box ist klanglich auch überzeugend und gibt den Gitarrensound in allen Frequenzbereichen gut definiert wieder. Sie erinnert optisch etwas an die bekannte und deutlich teurere Bogner Big Size 2x12er, ist aber etwas kompakter in den Abmessungen. Trotzdem ist das Gehäusevolumen immer noch groß genug, um eine ordenliche Klangfülle mit reichlich low end zu erzeugen.

Einen Kritikpunkt vielleicht: Bei der Speakerkombination wäre die Option auf einen Stereobetrieb durchaus sinnvoll gewesen.

Ansonsten bin ich sehr zufrieden und nutze die Box derzeit sogar als meine Primärbox, da mir die Speakerkombi einfach ausnehmend gut gefällt. Dazu habe ich sie optisch noch ein bisschen aufgebrezelt - mir gefiel die zweigeteilte Frontwand mit der schwarzen Frontbespannung und dem schmalen Brett mit schwarzen Tolexbezug nicht, daher habe ich die Werksfrontbespannung entfernt und über Schalwand sowie das tolexbezogene obere Brett komplett eine schicke Salt & Pepper-Papierfaserbespannung gezogen. Sieht super aus und da das Auge mithört klingt sie subjektiv auch nochmal ne Spur besser :)
