Let me start by saying this amp is pretty good bang for buck. It is crazy loud to the point where your ears hurt. Simple layout, but that's the whole idea of frfr. The only thing I don't like about it are the two tone knobs, presence and resonance. They are there for dialling in more or less treble and bass, but I'm not sure in which position they are neutral. In the middle position lt doesn't sound neutral to me. Compared to what I hear when I play through my studio monitors this amp sound pretty dull/dark in the middle position. So I try to match the sound to my monitors so I won't adjust any settings of my modelers, which are uafx Lion and Dream 65 by the way. Make sure to match the output levels of your presets , otherwise you might get blasted away upon changing preset. It's LOUD!
Oh and i got a free additional Power cord for UK outlets with my amp, which is of no use if you live in the Netherlands.
Update: I tried it in the rehearsal room playing heavy 90's rock, it holds its own. Really powerful!
Yet I found another thing i don't like; the line outs are affected by volume and tone controls, which make these useless for live situations. Especially volume should not be affected in my opinion. If i wanted to raise my stage volume, the front of house will receive a louder signal aswell. Also i want the FOH to receive the unaffected sound i send from my amp modeler. The tone adjustment on the amp might only be useful for monitoring corrections and do not shape the sound in a very flattering way. Now i still need a DI to send the signal to FOH. A little dissapointing IMO
