Flexible positioning and customisable sound
The M-Audio BX4 is a set of active multimedia reference monitors with a bass-reflex design and a two-way system consisting of a 1" silk dome tweeter and a 4.5" Kevlar-cone woofer. Positioned as a mid-range model within M-Audio's monitor range, they combine a compact footprint with a practical level of power for everyday monitoring tasks. The front-panel volume control allows both speakers to be adjusted together, while treble and bass controls on the rear panel provide options for adapting the sound to the room. A speaker position switch makes installation more flexible, as either speaker can be placed on the left or right side, helping to keep power and audio connections neat and efficient. A 3.5mm stereo headphone output is also provided for convenient personal monitoring.

The speaker system provides stereo inputs via balanced 6.3mm jack sockets and unbalanced RCA connections, while a 3.5mm stereo jack socket on the front panel offers an additional AUX input.
