When I want to boogie

Over the years I decided I like 2 bridge Pickups above all others. One is the Seymour Duncan Black Winter bridge Pickups. To my ears They're the greatest when I want to go Zakk Wylde-Ozzy style to early Keith Merrow Metal sounds. The other one is the DiMarzio D Activator DP220 Bridge. I like them for EVH Hot for Teacher style Rhythms, ZZ Top mid 80's and 90's Rhythms and Rob Zombie's grooving Rhythms. Like when I want to rock out, snap my fingers, tap my feat or dance. The D Activator's are great for that. I got them in the bridge of 4 of my guitars the others got the Black Winters. To me the D Activators are the closest passive pickups to the Fishmen Fluence Modern. No... I get it, they're not the exact same sounding pickups but for passives they come pretty close. The EVH and ZZ Top, Rob Zombie style stuff is what I use them for, you may hear completely different possibilities and options....

Enorm goeie Metal humbuckers

Ik kwam via John 5 op deze Humbucker, heb ze nu al ongeveer 3 jaar in mn gitaar zitten. Zijn enorm goed en zal je geen spijt van hebben. Laten zelfs een goedkope gitaar goed klinken.

Great pickup!

This is my favourite bridge pickup for '80s metal and more extreme tones...or anything played with high gain/distortion. Sounds great in E standard tuning but really excels in lower tunings.
Very even EQ that can be easily shaped with the amp. Harmonically rich with tight, punchy lows.

Clarity and Noiseless

I needed an active sounding type pickup for my strat, because the stock humbucker was very hot but noisy, if it was plugged in a loud amp even with a small amount of gain it made a very annoying high pitch noise. Unfortunately, the strat doesn't have a place for battery, so when I saw this DiMarzio that gives you active sound without a battery I chose it. Long story short, it's a very good pickup, with a very clear yet heavy sound, very punchy, but I would reccomend to put it in a more warm type of guitar wood, as the strat alder is already very bright, and the pickup amplifies this quality, but it's very malleable with amp setting so no problem. In conclusion, I got what I wanted, a Noiseless powerful pickup that keeps the sound definition even at big distortion levels.
