hot pickup

Deze hete pickup had ik voor mijn Yamaha pacifica besteld, om de originele humbucker eruit te vervangen.

Voordeel:
Het is een vette pickup, en ziet er vet uit. Je kan veel meer 'toon' uit je gitaar halen.

Nadeel:
Je moet oppassen dat je deze pickup niet te hoog zet, het geluid word al snel "schel", ik heb hem daarom ook heel diep in de body gezet van mijn Yamaha (kwam ook omdat deze gekoppeld was met een P90 in de hals, om het in balance te houden).

Over het algemeen een prima pickup, vandaar 4 sterren

Super Bridge Sound

This was purchased as a companion to a neck Liquifier. The recommendation came from DiMarzzio's website. What a difference it has made to the basswood bodied Ibanez that it is now fitted to. An absolutely fantastic sound, rich and warm with almost double the sustain of the original bridge pickup. It works great for all styles of music and the higher output gives a real crunch to an overdriven valve amp.

The greatest thing about this though is the Thomann price. Cheaper than any other supplier in the UK!! Thank you Thomann for stocking such a great item and such a great range.

Good all round pick up

I use this pick up into an Epiphone Les Paul Custom Pro bridge position.I have been using it at home at studios and live and it just sounds fantactic everywhere.I picked this pick up because i didnt like the sound of active pick ups because its too electronic for my taste.Using this i was able to have a good clean acoustic almost kind of clean sound and some killer distortion sounds which where kind of classic.Then thing with this pick up is that you get the power of a active pick up without lossing the vibes and the warm feeling of the passive.

Solid Sound

I used it on a Roahdes V custom build i made. Certainly suitable for heavy styles of rock. More bass from the D activator and more tight from the Tone Zone. Handles really well lower turnings.
