The Behringer Xenyx X1204 USB is a compact and versatile 12-channel mixing console with an integrated USB interface for live performances and recordings. The mixer's top features include four studio-grade microphone preamps, three-band EQs on each channel for the classic British Rock sound of the 1960s and 1970s, easy-to-use "one-knob" compressors on channels 1 to 4, and a 24-bit effects processor with 16 editable presets – including reverb, chorus, flanger, delay, pitch shifter, and more. Behringer even provides the suitable recording and editing software, which can be downloaded free of charge from the manufacturer's website, so when it is connected to a PC or Mac, the Xenyx X1204 USB transforms into a complete, powerful home recording studio.

Easy to use for beginners and pros

All mixers in Behringer's Xenyx series feature the microphone preamps of the same name, which offer a remarkable dynamic range of 130dB. The dynamic compression is also particularly easy to adjust, and it is available for all mono channels, giving voices or instruments more presence and clarity at the flick of a single switch. This makes it easy for beginners using the Xenyx X1204 USB to find the ideal compression level. At the same time, the channel EQs allow more experienced users to give each audio signal more warmth and musicality in just a few simple steps. [REVIEW] Behringer Xenyx X1204 USB

Een kleine maand geleden gekocht met case, sinds dien nog geen seconde spijt van gehad. Geluid kwaliteit ligt eraan hoe je alles mixt in de tafel. Voor een beginner of voor een drive-in show is dit prima. Zelf gebruik ik hem voor ons bedrijf, JB Light and Sound. Het enige nadeel is dat je je effecten niet kan horen via je solo. Verder een prima tafel, zeker een aanrader!

Perfect voor mijn thuis composities

Ik speel in een Rock band en had behoefte aan wat mogelijkheden om zelf thuis demo's op te nemen voordat ik deze aan de band laat horen. Nu is er een hele hoop "bewerkingssoftware" te verkrijgen maar daarvoor moet het eerst in de PC opgenomen worden.

Dit paneel werkt perfect daarvoor. Ik heb elke kanaal een eigen instrument gegeven en daarop ingeregeld. Hierdoor hoef ik niet de instellingen aan te passen als ik overschakel van gitaar naar bas of keyboard.
De USB aansluiting werkt prima en de geluidskwaliteit is uitstekend.Het mengpaneel werd ook meteen door de PC software herkend.

Het geheel is solide gebouwd. De ingebouwde effecten klinken goed, maar in de nabewerking heb ik meer mogelijkheden daarom gebruik is ze niet vaak.
De inschakelbare fantoom voeding is een pré.

Het enige kleine minpuntje is de Niveaumeters. Met 8 ledjes is die wat klein uitgevallen, voor de rst is dit precies wat ik zocht.

Er zit vaak wel een ruis in en een piep wat best wel iritant is. Voor de rest is hij makkelijk te bedienen. Maar als je constant een koptelefoon op hebt is het geluid met de ruis en de piep na een lange tijd niet meer fijn.

Ik heb hem nu een jaar maar ik ben er niet echt van verdiend. Je betaald er wel veel voor zon kwaliteit ben ik niet verwacht.
Maar voor de recht is er niks aan de hand.
