The Warwick RB Star Bass 5 combines the classic charm of semihollow basses and guitars with a whole host of modern features – and an extended tonal range thanks to its low B string. Its maple body, with a set-in maple neck and ekanga veneer stripes – all integrated into the instantly recognisable Warwick Star Bass design – delivers a resonant and pleasantly woody response. The wenge fingerboard, with a 34" scale length, ensures precise intonation and clear articulation. Equipped with two passive MEC single coil pickups and passive electronics, this five-string projects a natural, dynamic timbre that runs the gamut from warm vintage textures to crisp, contemporary sounds. Seen here in Warwick's classic Solid Black High Polish finish, the instrument’s excellent build quality is underlined by its reliable Warwick machine heads and Just-A-Nut III nut.
