Ik heb deze set besteld als een reserve voor bij de festivalletjes en banddingetjes. Mocht iemand nou één van meer high end tommicrofoons kapot slaan kom ik hier nog wel mee weg.

Qua geluidskwaliteit doen ze goed wat ze moeten doen. Op snare bottom vind ik zo'n 'CD55' zelfs lekkerder klinken dan de standaard ;-).

De clipjes die er bij zitten zijn ook heel erg fijn, gewoon vastdraaien tot het vast zit inplaats van moeilijk zitten doen met een rim die net iets te groot is.

Komt in een leuk koffertje, koffertje is niet stevig, maar je hebt wel gelijk een inlay voor in je microfoonkist.

Voor een beginnend geluidsman of als je zelf opnames wil maken bij je oefenruimte kan ik dit setje best aanraden.

De kickmic, B D200, zou je voor het uiterlijk al kunnen kopen. Ziet er super tof uit.

Voor dit geld kun je niet miskopen, dus zou het gewoon doen.

De microfoons in deze set zijn prijs kwalitatief gezien erg goed, Ik heb ze afgelopen tijd erg vaak in kunnen zetten op verschillende drum kits. De microfoons klinken erg goed voor hun prijs en zijn multifunctioneel in te zetten.

Niet echt bruikbaar gebleken voor opnames, maar dat komt door een onrealistisch hoge verwachting van een set voor deze prijs. Kan goed zijn als backup set voor live, of als er heel licht versterkt moet worden.

This drum mic set is really, really great! Don’t get too hung up on the quality of the sound and all that jazz . That might be something for recording engineers but, for live sound they make a noise and sound fine, are robust and so easy to install. The clips are also very good. I over-tightened one trying to fit the bass mic to the rim of a kick drum and thought it was broken but all that was wrong was that there is a small e-clip holding the screw in place on the moving part of the bracket and that had been pushed off (and lost on stage somewhere) … so, it is an easy fix for a few pence with another e-clip. All of the mics respond really well to high, mid and low EQ tweeks (you can hear the changes quite markedly) and they’ll certainly pick up all the finer nuances and ringing on a drum so, they have a good range. The kick drum mic is also fine and produces the crack well rather than being boomy ... what more do you want to get the sound of that kick drum out front? The four top of kit mics are made of some really tough resin plastic which is brilliant because they’re light enough to fix in place yet have enough substance to take a hit. The Bass mic is metal cased and relatively heavy enough to sit still. I love this drum mic set … it’s always in my PA kit should it be needed and it does the job very well … I Just wish there was a clamp for the kick mic. I got an extra clamp and I fit the bass mic to the leg of a cymbal stand and aim it at the bass drum port hole.
