The Stairville Outdoor Stage Par Pro QCL MKII's powerful LEDs will really help put the spotlight on anything illuminated by it: With an exceptionally bright beam for its price, this PAR spotlight is capable of highlighting lead performers or key features with its narrow beam angle. And because it is also suitable for outdoor applications, it can be used in almost any setting, from open-air stages to architectural lighting. Users will also enjoy a great deal of flexibility when it comes to mounting the Pro QCL. For use as an uplight, it's simply placed on its double bracket, which is fully adjustable. Alternatively, this lightweight luminaire can be mounted on lighting stands or trusses, when the necessary accessories are used.

Flexible, powerful, robust

With twelve 8W 4-in-1 LEDs, the Stairville Outdoor Stage Par Pro QCL MKII can create some really stunning effects. With its narrow, 25° beam angle, the fanless spotlight casts a clearly defined cone of light in every colour that can be mixed from red, green, blue, and white. Its IP65 protection rating means it can be safely installed outdoors, as it's both dustproof and resistant even to high-pressure water jets – from a garden hose or heavy rain, for instance. Of course, both the housing itself and the screw-fastened power inputs and outputs all meet the IP65 requirements. The luminaire can be operated either from the rear, using the menu buttons found below the display, or via a DMX control device (sold separately) via one, four, five, or seven channels. There are 11 automated programmes, and master-slave operation is also possible, for which there are three-pin DMX plugs already attached to the unit with connecting cables.

Anyone organising an open-air event will be able to create just the right ambience with the Stairville Outdoor Par Pro QCL MKII. The spotlight's fanless operation is whisper quiet, making it suitable not just for concerts and theatrical performances, but also for more tranquil affairs like readings. Even complete beginners can effectively illuminate architecture and sculptures, either with static colours or one of the automated programmes in the device's own menu. This decorative spot is also ideal for restaurateurs who offer al fresco dining or for garden parties of all kinds. Experienced stage techs, on the other hand, will likely control the PAR can via DMX. Suited as it is for indoor and outdoor events, the QCL MKII luminaire is also bound to prove a popular item for rental services, thanks to the ease with which it can be installed and used in a range of situations.

About Stairville

Since it was introduced in 1994, Thomann's in-house brand Stairville has been a permanent fixture in the store's product range. The brand primarily focuses on the field of stage lighting in general, and its products include spotlights, moving lights, and theatre lighting as well as smoke machines, electronic control systems, and every other accessory you can think of. Right place, right time

When using the QCL MKII as an uplight, it can simply be placed on the floor, but it can also be easily attached to a tripod – for instance, the Fun Generation Light Stand – for illuminating stages and so on from above; a safety cable is needed to complete the setup here. For larger operations using several Stairville Outdoor Stage Par Pro QCL MKIIs at the same time, users simply connect the DMX output of the first spot to the input of the next, creating a chain, and select slave mode from the second device onwards. The Stairville PDC3BK IP65 DMX Cable 10.0m 3pin is also suitable for outdoor use, making it an ideal accessory. Budding light techs can use a lighting console such as the Stairville DDC-12 DMX Controller to make best use of the full range of functions of this versatile spotlight.

I have the stairville outdoor stage par 7x3 watt which have been great. I needed something brighter for some events I do so I decided to get 10 of these lights. They are well built and have much better coverage/spread and colour mix. The only thing is that when putting the two lights side by side, I can?t tell which one is brighter. I was expecting to see a big difference. Still a great light

Very impressive performance at this price point

After advice from Thomann, I bought two to try and then quickly added two more. I used them to provide the front lighting for a 6m X 5m festival stage, suspended 3m above stage. Absolutely delighted with the way they worked and service from Thomann.

Satisfied with the stage Par Pro, but a little disapointed with the illumination. I was expecting a little brighter compared to other brand with same light power.
