The control panel of the Seymour Duncan PowerStage 200 is clean and straightforward: Alongside a level dial, there's a four-band EQ with bass, mid, treble, and presence controls, which can shape not only the power amp's main output, but also the signal to the headphone and balanced outputs. Both the EQ and cab simulation can be switched on or off independently, allowing musicians to work flexibly within a variety of different setups. All connections are located on the rear: 6.3mm mono jacks for input and output, a headphone socket, an AUX input, and a balanced XLR out. A trio of status LEDs in turn indicate power, power amp clipping, and preamp clipping. In practice, this all combines to deliver quick setup, minimal space requirements, and a power amp that integrates seamlessly into almost any pedalboard.
