Here's the bottom line: You have an expensive piece of gear like the Neural Quad Cortex (great utility BTW) and to power it, you only get a relatively flimsy power supply that could either break in transport or mid-gig. First I thought I got the wrong shipment. Then I ordered another power supply, only to realize it's still the same flimsy part.

The power supply has multiple sockets for use in different regions - good idea for home use, but not on stage this is a bad idea. Even if you run an extension cord to your pedal board, there is always a risk for the power supply to snap.

I will continue to use it, despite everything, having a backup is mandatory at this point, I guess and will for more rugged options in the meantime. The power supply shall not stop me from making good use of the QC in the future :-)

Quality PSU, Great Value Perfect for the Quad Cortex

This has a high current rating of 3A and so is perfect to power my Quad Cortex.

Buying a second PSU enables me to use my Quad Cortex on my desk whilst having the other one permanently installed on my pedalboard.

At this price it doesn't break the bank. Fast delivery too!

Not much to say – the Cortex Power Supply works flawlessly with my NANO Cortex. The cable length is just right, and it’s a reliable solution for both live performances and studio use. Definitely a must-have for anyone using the NANO Cortex!
