The PE100 is the first multi-effects processor in a micro format from Chinese manufacturer Mooer that accommodates up to 99 individual user presets and 98 factory presets in a compact desktop housing with an LC display and at the same time offers a wide sonic palette thanks to six effect blocks with 39 different effects and seven amp models. This is complemented by 40 rhythm presets that cover the entire range from Country to Metal, which also makes the portable PE100 the perfect companion for spontaneous practice and jam sessions. The pocket-sized multi-effects unit additionally features a built-in tuner, four quick recall preset slots, and a tap tempo function that allows the speed of the selected drum preset (40 patterns included) or metronome (10 different types available) to be adjusted quickly and easily.

A world of sounds on a budget

From rich, warm-sounding jazzy cleans, a lively and dynamic crunch, or thunderous high-gain fuzz and distortion, the Mooer PE100 multi-effects unit offers the entire sonic palette for just about every musical genre with an excellent price-performance ratio. Users can select from seven amp models that cover various tonal styles from vintage clean to high-gain alongside numerous effects such as overdrive/distortion, fuzz, wah, echo, and reverb, and modulation effects such as flanger, chorus, and phaser. All of the preset and rhythm modes, global settings, and individual effect blocks with 39 different effects can be navigated through and individual effects added to the selected amp sim using the rotary/push mode control button.

A versatile pocket-sized companion

The Mooer PE100 features a tap button for adjusting either delay or the tempo of the selected drum pattern or metronome. Users can also conveniently store their own parameter configurations in up to 99 user presets and assign four of their favourite sounds to the A, B, C, and D buttons to ensure instant access with a single click. Thanks to its comprehensive range of inputs and outputs, the Mooer PE100 is eminently suitable for a wide variety of applications, from a standalone headphone amp with opulent features through to a preamp that is child's play to connect to a computer, a mixing console in the studio, or a real amp for quick recordings. Its compact dimensions of 13cm x 8cm, low weight of just 230g, and option of battery operation without a mains adapter also make this little sound monster a handy companion for touring songwriters or guitarists on the road.

About Mooer

Mooer is based in the Chinese city of Shenzhen and has been making products for guitarists since 2010, which include compact single pedals through to multi-effects units and compact amplifiers. The company initially produced a range of mini pedals before making perhaps its most significant breakthrough in 2016 with the sophisticated Ocean Machine delay pedal, which was designed in collaboration with Devin Townsend. Mooer's product range now also includes solutions that feature amp modelling, IR-based speaker simulation, and matching equalisers, and the company's focus remains firmly on the use of digital technology.

Home studio gebruik gaat goed en oefenruimte ook prima

De user interface is redelijk intuitief. Moest wel effe de handleiding erbij nemen om user preset op te kunnen slaan.
100 vaste presets die te moduleren zijn op diep niveau. De verandering is op te slaan als user preset.
Enorm veel mogelijkheden .
Als je van tweaken houdt kan je je helemaal uitleven.
In de oefenruimte zijn de presets heel makkelijk oproepbaar.

Geluid mist enige helderheid. De vele effecten zijn aan/uit te zetten en de meeste hebben 3 opties om in te stellen. Het is niet mogelijk de volgorde in de chain te veranderen.

Koptelefoon kan erin , doch geluidsniveau zou wat harder mogen van mij. Via de mixer is dit "probleem" opgelost
De instrument uit poort werkt prima.

De female jacks vertrouw ik niet helemaal. Moet wat kracht zetten om de jack erin te stoppen. Het apparaat voelt daar een beetje te zwak voor aan.
Maar goed , wat kan je verwachten voor deze prijs.

Top product, net wat ik zocht.
Gewoon in de zetel lekker wat spelen en niemand storen.

goed van geluid maar slechte afwerking

ik vind dit qua geluid een heel goed alternatief als ik niet met mijn versterker kan spelen , maar ik heb het nog niet lang en ik heb al twee inputs die loszitten. het lukt om te spelen maar ik vind het jammer dat dit niet steviger is.
