Mooer MBJ412 Bass Dark Blue

I normally play short scale but always fancied a full-scale jazz style bass. I was struck by the beautiful range of colours this bass is available in. It was a big selling point and I chose the dark blue colour however it is more like a turquoise colour...absolutely gorgeous. The silver one also look great and I was very tempted with that. I bought from Thomann thinking I could just send it back if not happy but this guitar is fantastic. Lovely tone, nice neck, pots work pretty much through the full twist, perfect fret-work and paintwork. It's just a tad heavier than I was expecting at 4.40 kg on my bathroom scales. This is a keeper.

A great bass for the money. I had a smile on my face when I unzipped the included gig bag. The colour is beautiful and flawless. This is bass number 14 for me, my last purchase being an Alusonic so I know a good instrument when I see one. The quality of "Cheap" basses nowadays is just unbelievable. The roasted maple neck on this instrument is so smooth and fast it's a pleasure to play. It's stays in tune as much as my expensive guitars and sounds excellent plugged into my Ampeg bass amp. I honestly can't fault this bass in any level. It'll be my gigging bass for a while now. Well done Mooer!!!

Sicuramente di meglio a questo prezzo non si trova. Ottimi tastiera e manico, i pkup fanno bene il loro dovere senza dispersioni o ronzii, la verniciatura molto ben fatta ma è molto diversa dalle foto, decisamente più scura come il Fender Pro II che ho è per questo avrei preferito fosse come le foto altrimenti a saperlo l'avrei preso di un altro colore, comunque utilizzandolo solo a casa e non live va bene così. Come è arrivato ho subito cambiato le corde perché quelle montate(non saprei dire la marca) erano praticamente morte e visto che mi avanzava un ponte Fender Hi-mass ho fatto che cambiarlo decisamente meglio del solito piastrino vintage che montano i jazz a basso costo. Bella la custodia che è sicuramente un plus visto che pesso neanche i bassi più costosi te la danno compresa nel prezzo. Peccato x il colore ma contento dell'acquisto. Consegna puntuale e ottimo imballaggio.

habe neben Akustikgitarren bisher nur einen Akustikbass, so dass ich zu Sound und Elektronik leider kein qualifiziertes Urteil abgeben kann. Da man bei der Bewertung die Sterne für Sound und Features nicht überspringen kann, habe ich daher einen Mittelwert von 3 Sternen für diese Kategorien vergeben.
Gute Verarbeitung: sorgfältig entgratete Bünde / Hals rückseitig mit schöner Holzmaserung und seidig poliert / saubere Einlegearbeiten auf dem Griffbrett / Lackierung bis auf einen kleinen matten Fleck an weniger sichtbarer Stelle tadellos.
Optik: Kein schrilles Babyblau, wie man lt. Abbildung glauben könnte, sondern etwas dunkler (in etwa vergleichbar mit dem Lake Placid Blue von Sandberg wie in Thomann-Abb. vom California II, natürlich ohne dessen Used Look). Mir persönlich gefällt der dunklere Farbton - v. a. zusammen mit dem schwarzen Airbrush-Schatten - sogar besser.
Spielgefühl: Schlanker, nicht zu schwerer Body, an den Außenseiten gut verrundet, liegt angenehm am Körper.
Zumindest bei diesem Exemplar scheint es kein Problem mit der Halsstabeinstellung und Saitenlage zu geben, von denen man bisweilen hört. Da scheppert nix und ich bin auf Anhieb mit dem Teil zurechtgekommen.
Wichtig: Beim Auspacken verströmte der Bass einen penetranten chem. Geruch. Ursache ist die Schutzfolie auf dem Pickguard. Wenn man sie entfernt, legt sich das Problem.
Fazit: Für den Preis inkl. schönem Gigbag kann man mit diesem Bass m. E. wenig falsch machen.
