The aptX codec provides excellent low-latency audio transmission, suitable for accurate monitoring and playback. The unit's LED-lit volume dial provides a clear view of output levels, allowing quick and precise adjustments. However, when used directly with studio monitors, a slight background hiss may be noticeable at low volumes. This issue disappears when the signal is routed through an audio interface or mixer, which is the preferred setup for critical listening tasks.
