Oh boy, where do I begin!

First of all, I owned and played a lot of basses in the last thirty years, from entry level Corts to high end one of a kind boutique made bass masterpieces and everything in between. This MVP reminded me of my 2011 Sandberg California VM5 which I loved in terms of fit and finish and overall quality. The only concern I have quality wise is the bridge which is really thin (1 mm steel plate). Other than that this bass is solid and I cannot fault it regardless of its price range. I would’ve preferred a 43mm nut because I have big hands, but this is personal preference. Also , because I’ve seen people complain, the pickup is great, even better than the Sandberg one, and it really represents the modern P tone extremely well. The neck is slim and well finished and tuners work well, and unlike the bridge, they seem very well built. Body seems a little slimmer than the Fender one, but this doesn’t bother me. Also, for a P-bass this balances really well, which is not the case for the aforementioned Sandberg.
Overall, this is a great bass regardless of its price range and I cannot recommend it enough.

EDIT:

I compared the bridge with a Fender american standard bridge and they have the same thickness, so you can disregard my previous statement.

For the price, can't be beaten

Great bass, in fact so good I robbed an actual set of Fender pickups of one of my other basses and put them in this. Result - a far superior bass than an actual Fender, if they could match the pickup quality straight up they'd have a premium product.

Not a single blemish

The bass arrived in perfect visual and functional shape. No scratches, no cracks, no blemishes. Everything works nicely.

Pros:
- neither visual nor functional problems
- fretboard looks amazing
- nice color
- feels rock solid in hands
- actually decent setup
- brass addles and nicely shaped nut
- good tuners

CONS
- just a tiny bit of neck diving

This is great instrument, worth much more than its price tag.

Exceptional bass.

Bought this for it's simplicity and price. Fitted with Rotosound Flats it tears through any song I put it through. From Motown to Rock, or even Metal, this bass can do it all. The Deluxe series is worth the money tenfold and the block inlays and matching pickguard are gorgeous. This bass even has glow in the dark side dots which is usually only on premium basses.

No neckdive, medium weight and a very comfortable neck. Highly recommended from beginners all the way to seasoned veterans looking for a reliable backup.
