The fiery red Harley Benton Mini Looper features a puristic design comprising just one controller and one metal switch with a multi-colour LED light, and is therefore the perfect companion for guitarists, bassists, and all other looping fans who want to keep things simple.

No-frills looper

Operating the Harley Benton Mini Looper is just as easy as it looks: The footswitch is pressed once to start recording, which is indicated by the LED lighting up in red, and pressed a second time to start the playback of the recorded loop, which is indicated by the LED light turning green. Pressing the footswitch once again will allow an infinite number of overdubs to be added, while phrases can be easily deleted or restored by pressing the footswitch for at least two seconds in playback or overdub mode. The level control knob serves to adjust the volume of the output signal that is routed through the 6.3mm jack socket on the left-hand side of the housing. Since its ultra-compact size does not allow for an internal battery, the Harley Benton Mini Looper needs to be powered from an external source, either by using a 9V adapter, which can be purchased separately, or by connecting it to the central power supply of a pedalboard.

Compared to the larger, more elaborate loop stations on the market, the Harley Benton Mini Looper is stripped down to the most essentials functions, which offers users quite a few advantages. Beginners will find it extremely easy to take their first steps into the world of looping and immediately have fun playing around without reading through hundreds of pages of operating manuals beforehand. And the looper's recording time of up to ten minutes is quite sufficient for a fairly large number of applications. The Harley Benton Mini Looper offers a favourable price-performance ratio thanks to its high-quality sound and true bypass function, which allows the signal to pass through unaffected when the looper is switched off. Goede looper voor weinig geld

De Harley Benton Mini Looper is een Loop-pedaal om zelf riffs of liedjes af te spelen.

Functies:

De looper kan tot 10 minuten loopen wat behoorlijk veel is zelfs voor de duurdere loopers in dit formaat. Je kan oneindig overdubben (dat je over eenloop nog een andere heen opneemt) en je kan een overdub ook weer verwijderen. verder heeft de looper ook een volumeknop voor je loops. Dit zijn voor dit prijspunt enorm sterke features die ook allemaal perfect werken, dit maakt de looper echt een prijsvechter!

Bediening:

Voor de precieze bediening zul je toch eerst even de handleiding moeten bestuderen maar verder werkt hij net zoals alle andere loopers. Het zal even wennen zijn maar verder is hij vrij simpel te bedienen.

Geluid en afwerking:

Het geluid is erg goed als je een clean riffje speelt. Als je een riff met veel distortion eroverheen speelt en er dan overheen improviseert wordt het geheel wel wat modderig, dit is echter vooral van toepassing op metalriffjes. De wat hardere rock doet het pedaal prima. Verder is het een fijn compact pedaal wat lekker weinig ruimte op je pedalboard inneemt. Hij is stevig en zal ook gemakkelijk lang meegaan.

Conclusie:

Dit pedaal is de perfecte uitkomst voor iedereen die op zoek is naar een compacte looper. Hij heeft een zeer lange looptijd in vergelijking met duurdere loopers en de geluidskwaliteit is zeer goed voor dit prijspunt. Ik zou hem zeker aan anderen aanraden!

Ik heb dit loopertje inmiddels n paar maanden op mijn pedalboard staan en ben dik tevreden !

Deze looper is vergelijkbaar met de TC electronic DITTO.

Alleen heeft deze 2x zoveel opnametijd (net als de DITTO in 24bit), terwijl het apparaatje maar ongeveer de helft kost !!

Al met al n goeie deal voor ieder die eens wil experimenteren met n looperpedaal en/of geen uitgebreide functies nodig heeft.

Geluidskwaliteit is het beste wat er te krijgen is in loopers. Feilloze footswitch. Simpel, zeer doeltreffend. Enige nadeel is de dubbelklik voor het beeindigen van een loop. Meestal aan het einde van een nummer. Is live een uitdaging. En mijn persoonlijke voorkeur bij het deleten en weer oproepen van de laatst opgenomen frase zou zijn aan het einde/begin van de nieuwe loop. Maar ach, wat klaag ik? Zo'n klein en scherp geprijsd pedaaltje kan al heel veel. Ik ben er erg gelukkig mee.

Leuk ding, vooral om zelf mee te improviseren
Op de lagere geluidsinstelling laat hij soms geluid weg, maar alleen als je dezelfde noten speelt op veel harder volume. Dit is alleen een questie van fijn instellen.
