Its key feature, as the name suggests, is the closed-back Thiele cabinet design, which gives any speaker installed in it a powerful bass response and clearly defined sound – perfect for musicians who want precise and powerful sound reinforcement "up front", especially on stage.

Decisions, decisions!

The Harley Benton G112Plus Thiele Unloaded gives users absolute freedom when it comes to the 12" speaker they choose to fit it with. Some musicians will want a full, heavy sound for Rock or Metal; others prefer a crisp, articulate tone for Funk or Jazz – selecting the right speaker to install is key to ensuring the right sound for the cabinet itself. Of course, the G112 is also suitable as a replacement cabinet for an existing speaker setup; it couldn't be easy to install a new speaker, which can be simply inserted from the front after the speaker grille is removed. Two solderless 1/4" sockets guarantee a secure and stable electrical connection, while the corners are fitted with metal corner guards to protect against knocks and the robust fabric covering ensures that the speaker inside is optimally protected. Thanks to the carrying handle on the top, the speaker is easy to transport, so it can be taken to live gigs or rehearsals without any problems.

Enough power for rehearsals and concerts

Zeer nette cabinet.

Omdat ik nog 2 12" speakers werkeloos had liggen heb ik deze op de gok besteld.
De cabs zijn echt netjes afgewerkt en voelen en zien er degelijk uit. Hoewel in de beschrijving staat dat de M4 schroeven er niet bijgeleverd zijn, zaten ze in mijn geval wel gewoon bij. Onder de flap aan de onderzijde van de doos zat een zakje met 4 M4 schroeven.
Ik heb er Eminence/Eden 112xst speakers in gemonteerd. Thiele principe werkt prima voor bas. Dus als basscab zijn ze sowieso geschikt. Gitaar kan ik als bassist dus niks over zeggen.

Ik ben er heel tevreden mee en aangenaam verrast over de afwerking en kwaliteit. Echter eigenlijk ook niet want alle Harley Benton producten die ik tot nu toe heb gekocht hebben een uitstekende prijs-kwaliteit verhouding.

Uiteraard ook weer een snelle en correcte levering door Thomann. Ik koop bij Thomann altijd met het volste vertrouwen.

Jammer van de afmeting

Een mooi cabinet, goed afgewerkt, prima! Maar niet iedere 12 inch speaker past hier in! Ik kocht dit cabinet voor een Celestion Lead 80 12 inch speaker, en die past er met geen mogelijkheid in. Misschien verstandig om ook de binnenmaten voor de speakermontage aan te geven? Jammer genoeg moet ik dit boxje terugsturen.

Perfectly Fine Inexpensive Cab!

The G112 Plus Theile is a fantastic unloaded 1×12 cabinet for such little money. I have paired mine with a Celestion F12-X200 and Orange Pedal Baby 100 for my FRFR/modeller needs as it sounds epic!

Construction is solid and neat as honestly I cant see why you'd need to spend more on a branded cab (unless you want that Baltic Bitch ply) compared to just getting one of these.

If you need a cheap good cab, this is simply the best option for not a lot of cash.

The best solution for clean natural sound with my Jensen P12R Alnico Vintage speaker and Fender Junior pro amplifier. Even the great blues guitarists than me wouldn't be ashamed with that color of sound, which can be obtained only with a closed back box
