Good starting point, needs work

Some praise first, the "good":
- Wood looks VERY good, pictures don't fully show how beautiful this guitar is. Satin finish is near perfect, one tiny crack near the bridge (... more on that later)
- My old Harley Bentons were heavy, this guitar is lightweight and even balanced
- No need to change pickups, sound is good, alt switch gives usable options. Switches, pots and output jack are also solid, no wobble, well put together and soldering is clean

and now the "bad" I noticed as soon as I started working on the setup - bridge alignment is completely off on my unit, at an angle (not a big issue), but also not centered with the nut (big issue). At the nut everything is fine, at 12th fret low E string is 5mm away from the edge of the neck, high E is 2mm away from the edge.

I would have kept this unit if bridge installed at a slight angle was the only issue, but complete re-alignment of the bridge is needed to make it work properly. I will get another one because it has potential to be a great guitar, just not this particular unit

Ich spiele seit 25 Jahren und habe allerlei Gitarren in der Hand gehabt. Die Fusion musste ich leider zwei mal in schwarz zurück schicken, weil Schrauben fehlten oder der Pick-up Schalter defekt war. Jetzt habe ich diese grau grüne (mattes Finish und tatsächlich mit leichten Grünstich) bestellt. Einfach wow. Wunderschön, dieses mal toll verarbeitet und klanglich fantastisch. Bin absolut begeistert.
