WELL worth the money!….but

Jlee05 31.07.2026

I ordered this one as soon as they launched, with high expectations. It absolutely met them! I upgraded from the TE-62 series, and I have to say it’s incredibly refined guitar.

Setup was 99% perfect out of the box, playability and comfort are a huge step up (from the te-62). Sounds wonderful, the alt switch is very usable as well. Even with the humbucker pickups, using the alt switch you can get really nice “twang” from it. This guitar will replace my current tele and sc guitars. It can handle both sounds solidly. Fit and finish looks amazing too.

1 issue: the guitar I received is a black front and natural back/sides. Not all black as the current pictures show.
Thomann is aware of it and will update the photos, as the all black body was the “prototype” version, and the black/natural color combination is the updated version. It’s beautifully done, just know it won’t be all black.

One of best instruments I own. Neck is super smooth and endings/edges are well treated. That well that even more expensive guitars I own have not that finishes. Very good parts and overall happy with the purchase for home and live.

Espectacular

Javier VR 03.08.2026
