A full serving of solid wood

Practical, playable – and very pretty
The Harley Benton CLC-650 is a very playable flattop with Grand Concert dimensions. The body is made entirely from solid African mahogany, top included. For the neck, Harley Benton has gone with okoume – also African, and very similar to mahogany. The fingerboard and bridge are crafted from a tough composite material. What really stands out is how tastefully the woods have been selected and combined: The ultra-glossy black-finish top, together with the edge bindings and armrest, looks extremely classy and very high-end. Factor in the mother-of-pearl and abalone inlays, and visually this guitar is a treat – without it ever feeling over the top. For electric amplification, Harley Benton has fitted its own HB-03 pickup system, complete with a built-in tuner.
