The Gator product range offers a huge selection of custom-made cases for almost every type of guitar. The Gator GW-LP guitar case was developed specifically for Les Paul-style guitars and similar single-cuts and is made to accommodate instruments with this type of design. A sturdy handle has been attached to ensure that the case is perfectly balanced when carried, while the slightly arched lid provides the best possible protection for the guitar's top. The interior contains a padded and velvety-soft internal lining, providing both a perfect fit and optimum protection from scratches thanks to its soft surface and an additional cloth. Moreover, the case contains a storage compartment for important utensils such as strings, picks, and tuners.

The Gator GW-LP guitar case is suitable for all musicians with a Les Paul or a single-cut of a similar design who travel a lot and attach great importance to transporting their delicate equipment as safely as possible. Although hardly more expensive than a decent gig bag, this case offers considerably better protection and is the ideal companion for beginners on their way to a lesson and for professionals whose instruments tend to vanish underneath a mountain of band equipment on the tour bus. The sturdy handle facilitates transport in an optimally balanced position while the velvety-soft internal lining, complete with additional cloth, protects the instrument from scratches.

About Gator

Gator, or Gator Cases, is an American firm founded in 2000 by father-daughter team Jerry Freed and Crystal Morris in Tampa, Florida. Initially, Gator began with a modest range of moulded plastic guitar cases. From there, they expanded the product line to include case and bag solutions for the whole field of instruments and equipment. A wide variety is covered: Instruments, microphones, and all aspects of live performance, including lighting equipment. At the same time, products for other media areas such as photo and video are also available. All products are made of high-quality plastics, wood, textiles, and EVA materials. The Gator companies also include flight case manufacturer Viking Cases and guitar strap manufacturer Levy's Leathers Ltd., as well as Gator Rackworks and Gator Frameworks.

The GW-LP guitar case shows its potential mainly when transport requires a bit of rough handling - and that precious single-cut therefore needs to be perfectly protected. The shock-resistant outer shell made of multi-layer plywood with its durable brown Tolex covering can easily withstand even the hardest of knocks. If, on the other hand, the instrument is to be stored for extended periods in the cellar or the rehearsal room where conditions are not ideal, the case also rises effortlessly to the occasion. In this way, a guitar can be kept safe and protected from external influences over a longer period of time, embedded in soft plush. Goede koffer, maar het kan beter

Op zich een goede stevige koffer. Wel zat het tolex hier en daar los en mogen de scharnieren en sloten van betere kwaliteit worden verwacht.

Too pinky...

I ordered this case because the reviews were good. I was doubting between the Epiphone Les Paul case or this one. I chose this one because it has some Gibson vibes to it. Until I opened it up.

It's the brightest pink I've ever seen.
Although the Gibson cases have some pink colours inside as well, this one was too much for me. So for the first time ever, I had to send something back.
Luckily Thomann has really good service and there were no problems with sending it back.

The overall quality of the case was pretty good I must say. You get alot of case for the money. But also a heck of a lot of pink too.

Nice hardcase for an Epiphone Les Paul Special Tv Yellow

I found this case very nice, good looking and most important: affordable.

It is perfectly suitable for Les Paul Special guitars and I beleive it also is for any Les Paul guitar.

I didn't ordered this case for taking it on the road, I only needed it to keep the instrument safe at home, however I'm sure the case is capable of protecting your guitar if transportation is need it.

I painted myself an Epiphone logo in gold on one side of the case, just in the same spot the original is (which was actually lot of fun to do) and it looks amazing! far better than the original one, but just at half of the price.

The general quality of the item and it's brown exterior color.
The interior pink color, the pinky fabric cover to cover the guitar inside the case
All matched nicely with the guitar in Yellow
After painted the Epiphone logo the case looks luxury and very exclusive.

Hated: Nothing, just the fact it is a generic case and did not has the brand logo on it (which I sorted painting it myself!) It can't look better now.

Conclusion: Why to spend lot of money in an expensive original Epiphone case if you are actually getting a relative inexpensive guitar? Put that extra money on better pickups, bridge, tuner machines, etc. This case does the job perfectly, and at half of the price.

It's really a great looking hard case!
