The GW-Semi-hollow Guitar Case was developed specifically for semi-hollowbody guitars and is constructed to accommodate instruments of such and similar designs. A sturdy handle has been attached to ensure that the case is perfectly balanced when carried, while the slightly arched lid also provides the best possible protection for the guitar's top. The interior contains a padded and velvety-soft inner lining, providing both a perfect fit and optimum protection from scratches thanks to its soft surface and additional cloth. Moreover, the case contains a storage compartment for important utensils such as strings, picks, and tuners - or the occasional can of beer.

Although hardly more expensive than a decent gig bag, this case offers considerably better protection and is the ideal companion for beginners on their way to lessons as well as for professionals whose instruments tend to vanish underneath bulky boxes on the tour bus. The sturdy handle facilitates transport in an optimally balanced position while the velvety-soft inner lining, complete with an additional cloth, effectively protects the instrument from scratches.

About Gator

Gator, or Gator Cases, is an American firm founded in 2000 by father-daughter team Jerry Freed and Crystal Morris in Tampa, Florida. Initially, Gator began with a modest range of moulded plastic guitar cases. From there, they expanded the product line to include case and bag solutions for the whole field of instruments and equipment. A wide variety is covered: Instruments, microphones, and all aspects of live performance, including lighting equipment. At the same time, products for other media areas such as photo and video are also available. All products are made of high-quality plastics, wood, textiles, and EVA materials. The Gator GW-Semi-hollow Guitar Case shows its potential mainly when transport requires a bit of rough handling - and the classy semi-hollow guitar must therefore be perfectly protected. The shock-resistant outer shell made of multi-layer plywood with its durable brown Tolex covering can easily withstand even the hardest of knocks. Great looks and function, small annoyances.

The Gator GW-Semi-hollow Guitar Case is a high-quality case that provides excellent protection for your instrument. It's sturdy, well-built, and fits the Epiphone Casino perfectly, which is what I'm using it for.

While the case is well-made, there is a small gap in the lid on the bottom when it's closed, which can be an issue when transporting it in wet conditions. Additionally, the guitar blanket inside can eventually get in the way and you may just want to cut it out. In my personal experience, I found that removing the blanket made it easier to get the guitar in and out of the case.

Despite these minor issues, the case still a great investment for any semi-hollow guitar player looking for a reliable and protective case. Overall, I would recommend this case to anyone who wants to keep their guitar safe and sound while on the go.

Gator semi hollow guitar case

Ik heb deze case gekocht voor m’n starcaster, deze gator case is uiterst netjes afgewerkt, en in een supermooie kleur bruin met goudkleurige sloten, een beauty om te zien. De pasvorm is perfect, en in de case een extra doek voor over je gitaar, dit in de stijl die ik van Gibson herken.
Dus prijs kwaliteit zeker een aanrader

Perfect for my Epiphone Casino

Great case for my Epiphone Casino. Perfect fit and comfortable handle. Seems quite strong for day to day use, however I'm not sure it would survive a very heavy object landing on it. The latches and lock are satisfactory. The inner lining is a very bright pink, and gets a lot of compliments! The compartment is big enough for several sets of strings and other accessories, and I keep my cables coiled in the upper section under the headstock. One con is that I have to remove my strap every time as the Schaller strap locks stick out a lot, however this speaks to the snug fit of the case, and I just roll the strap up and fit it in the hollow next to the neck joint. The case has extra foam padding above the bridge, and some foam that follows the contour of the headstock which is appreciated. As such, the guitar does not move around much inside. Somewhat unwieldy for walking around, however this is a large guitar. After over a year of consistent use, the tolex covering has some scuffs, but nothing major. I'm not sure if the tolex would withstand a tour however. Good value for money overall, and looks great to boot! :)

A very good quality case for the money, I tried an epiphone sheraton, Casino and and Riviera, all fitted snugly. It also looks better than the factory epiphone case in my opinion. I prefer the pink lining to the grey/black that comes with the Gibson 335 and epi cases, just think it has a classier look,...I'm not too fussed about the liner either way though. Incidentally, I tried a Rickenbacker 330, which also fitted... surprisingly!, although that guitar would benefit from a little padding at the back heel area to avoid stress on the neck/body area.
