Fane Sovereign 12-500 LF

2 weken geleden 2 stuks van deze besteld om het vermogen van mijn toppen te versterken.
Niet alleen zijn de speakers mooi afgewerkt maar hebben deze ook echt een geweldige geluidsweergave!! Ik was echt verrast voor de kwaliteit die je krijgt voor dit geld!!!

Ik lees een paar reviews over dat het frame van de speaker niet stevig zou zijn en snel buigt. Daar ben im het niet mee eens.

Deze speaker is zeer robuust en zowel geschikt voor gebruik in een top/monitor speaker als voor gebruik in een subwoofer!!

Dit merk (Fame) zal ik zeker onthouden en aanraden aan kennissen en vrienden!

I'm using it both as a subwoofer driver and as a top driver.

This thing totally astonished me for the price, the sound reproduction of it is amazing, and you really can't complain about the build quality either.

Performance as a subwoofer driver:

I didn't expect such a clear and deep sound, especially since the manufacturer's specifications claim a response from 38Hz to 5kHz, but i can totally see where the "LF" part in the name is coming from, in the subwoofer enclosure i use it in it's playing loud and deep down to about 30Hz, which amazed me quite a bit.

Performance as a Top/Fullrange cab mid driver:

It's playing very clean and accurately (this will ofcourse depend on your enclosure) up to the claimed 5kHz
It also sounds very lovely, every detail i wanted it to have, it actually does have.

The only thing it's missing just a little bit is ruggedness/build quality, be sure to not screw it in too hard or you'll bend the mounting part of the basket.

Otherwise, i do recommend this driver alot.

Pro's:
- Very clean and nicely sounding driver
- Nice and clean bass/mids

Cons:
- Mounting place for the basket is kind-of bendable
