Heel fijne fuzz face en lekker klein

Heel herkenbaar geluid. Reageert verbazingwekkend goed op het gebruik van de volumeknop van de gitaar. Meestal werken silicon fuzz faces wat minder dynamisch. Deze dus wel. Stevig gebruikt, zoals van mxr verwacht kan worden. Het kleine formaat maakt hem zeer bruikbaar, zelfs op kleinere pedalboards. Ik ben er zeer tevreden mee. Een aanrader.

Small Fuzz, Big legendary Fuzzface tone!

When the pedal first came out, I bought it and then put it away. I didn't understand the hype...
Until I discovered the secret. And if I'd paid more attention, I would have known long ago. The secret: the volume knob on your guitar. Set your volume to unity volume (mine is almost completely open) and the fuzz all the way up. The fuzz is much more touch-sensitive than you'd expect from a silicon fuzz. But again, the real magic comes from playing with the volume knob on your guitar. Some users find the pedal unsuitable for humbuckers, and although I also prefer to use it with single-coil pickups, even with humbuckers, using the volume knob on your guitar is what makes all the difference. On my single-coil guitars, I prefer to use the fuzz face in combination with the bridge pickups.

This small size JH fuzz works great and runs on a 9 volt. What more can a person ask for.

Where do I even begin?

Firstly, it's built like a tank, I could probably shoot this thing and It would still work fine.
The sound is great, the knobs really do what they say. as in, you can get the full-fuzz sound at half the volume, or you can get barely broken-up sounds at full volume. The sounds are, of course, very Hendrixey.
Note: it does get quite noisy, especially with passive pickups. I now have an active pickup guitar and have managed to fix the noise.
The battery cavity is also very handy and well-built. Between that and the construction, it's a great pedal to take out on the road.
finally, the knobs and switches are well built, the LED is very bright and the knobs glow in the dark. I'm not sure if that's intentional, but they do. I love this pedal
