Zultan's most affordable cymbal series is called Aja – pronounced "Asia" – and, as the name suggests, is made in China. But unlike the machine-made B8 bronze cymbals offered in the same price range by their competitors, the Ajas are cast from high-quality B20 bronze and finished by hand. In addition to the 10" splash, the Aja range includes other individual cymbals in various sizes and designs, as well as various preconfigured sets.

B20 – the standard yesterday, today, and tomorrow

In China, people have been familiar with the manual production of gongs and cymbals for centuries, so a lot of experience has gone into making the Aja series. 80 percent copper and 20 percent tin, B20 for short, is the bronze alloy that has long been known to be the magic formula for high-quality, melodious cymbals. As the Aja cymbals are finished by hand, each one is unique, which means that slight sound variations among individual cymbals of the same model are normal. The sound of the Zultan 10" Aja Splash is lively and bright, making it ideal for short, sharp accents.

Deze splash is voor de prijs echt ongelofelijk. No-brainer zoals ze dat noemen. Het geluid is lekker helder en het geeft een goede afwisseling met een crash. Ben er heel blij mee en beveel hem ten zeerste aan! Ik heb hem nu een aantal maanden in gebruik en ben er erg blij mee.

b20 bronze for this price? Yes

I've been using the Zultan Aja series for trying out my first B20 drum sets, and i haven't broken many of them. In 3 years i've broken 3 Crashes in a setup of 16 cymbals.
i'd say they're really great!

These splashes are short, high, and strong. ideal for all styles.

I like some variety in my splash sounds, so i keep various little splashes like these around for both my fixed and my travel drum kit. Nice sizzle and short sustain this one, as splashes go, for a very sympathetic price.

The price for what you get is completely insane. B20 bronze. The sound is REALLY good, and I am quite picky on splashes. The appearance however is very "vanilla" - natural finish, no visible hammer marks, but you dont really care about the appearance of a such low priced splash cymbal. The splash is what i would call medium thin.
A side note - the splash came with a very visible lathing defect, which was on the bell of a cymbal. I could not feel the "dent" with my finger, so I decided not to return it, and the visible defect is fully covered by the cymbal felt. I hope this will not result in a crack in the future.
I gave the total a score of 5/5, because you cant really beat this price, and the sound is of a splash worth 100 euros.
Highly recommend.
