Perfecte oefenbekkens voor thuis
Daeknem 18.06.2020

Perfect set for indoor rehearsals!
Canis rufus 24.12.2018
I have been using these cymbals for the last one year now on the kit in my bedroom, and I loved them so much that I added a 16" crash and a 10" splash to my kit as well (and now plan to add the 18" china)!

Pros:
1. These cymbals are REALLY quiet when compared to usual ones. Of course they still make some noise (they aren't rubber pads), but the levels are so tolerable that never once did my flat mates complain of me being too loud in the house
2. The hi-hats are the best part of the pack. The differences in closed vs open vs half-open hi-hats are clearly discernible despite the low volume levels.
3. The overall design of the cymbals is good, and the jingling on the stands is the same as with usual cymbals, despite the obvious difference in construction.
4. The differences in the pitch of the two crashes (since I now have two of them on my kit) is quite evident, and adds colour to the sound.
5. Pretty strong make that can take continuous heavy hammering by the sticks.

Cons:
1. The ride is a little louder than what I would prefer.
2. The bell on the ride is too small for me to conveniently play on it.
3. Pricey

Conclusion:
Despite being a bit costly, these are great cymbals to have if you want to play in your room/garage, with a sturdy make! Would definitely recommend!!

Sounds perfect, costs are very low for this quality and this durability. I can even record with these! (home recording)

Great cymbals - for practice
Tama Rama 04.11.2025
Zildjian need no introduction as a cymbal maker and their quality generally extends to their low volume range of cymbals. I have the 13" hi-hats, 14" crash, 16" crash and 18" crash/ride. What I can say is that to my ears, the 16 crash and 18 crash/ride are both really good sounding cymbals. I use the 18 as a ride as opposed to a crash and find that it works really well. The 16 crash is also really easy on the ear, works really well with the set and I love striking it. The 14 crash is arguably the weakest in terms of sound quality, but it has grown on me over time and provides a clear contrast to the 16, making for a nice variety of tones. The hi-hats are an interesting mixture of sounds - I wouldn't say they are fantastic - I find them a little overpowering at times, which isn't something hi-hats are usually noted for, but they do the job and overall these are good enough. The cymbals are surprisingly durable if you look after them, but they do tarnish easily when handled with bare hands. Overall, given that these are primarily for practising rather than performance, I think they are very good for the money and just the fact I can practice with real cymbals as opposed to rubber pads etc, makes them well worth buying. If you buy some too, I hope you enjoy them!
