Note: Expansion module for XVive MORE YOU HUB – cannot be operated independently
The XVive More You 2x is an expansion module designed for use with the XVive More You Hub USB audio interface and monitor controller, and it allows up to two input channels to be routed directly to a DAW. Monitoring is handled through headphones or studio monitors connected to the More You Hub. The modular design supports up to eight users, each with independent control over their input levels and reverb settings. Whether recording in the studio or rehearsing with a band, every performer can thus benefit from a fully personalised monitoring experience. The system also supports up to eight expansion modules, and with ADAT connections, it can handle up to 24 input channels. In addition to this exceptional level of flexibility, the system provides zero-latency direct monitoring, making the XVive More You a modular and scalable solution for musicians, vocalists, and content creators who require precise control over their monitoring setup.
The XVive More You 2x features a dedicated headphone volume control, along with a talkback button for communicating with other musicians, vocalists, or the recording engineer. Two channel controls provide intuitive operation: The MIX knob adjusts the input signal level, while the REVERB knob allows reverb to be added to the headphone mix for a more natural and comfortable monitoring experience. The XVive More You Hub also includes a separate volume control for connected speakers and a display that provides real-time level monitoring for all connected modules, as well as access to key settings. These can be adjusted using the buttons next to the display and include options such as phantom power, phase inversion, a high-pass filter, direct monitoring, and INST mode for high-impedance sources like electric guitars.
The modular XVive More You system is designed for musicians who value intuitive recording and personalised control over their monitor mix. Each optional expansion module allows one performer to connect up to two signals via the XLR combo input - or play instruments like keyboards or synthesizers in stereo. The system is equally suited to podcast production, giving each speaker the ability to independently adjust their monitoring volume, while the straightforward, easy-to-use interface makes adjusting settings a breeze, with no technical knowledge required. The built-in Auto Gain function eliminates the hassle of manual gain staging by automatically setting levels. Users can choose to apply it to a single channel or across all channels as needed.
Xvive Audio officially entered the market in 2012 with its compact U2 wireless guitar system. Since then, the company has also been involved in the development of wireless microphone technology. Its catalogue also includes effects pedals, such as the Signature Series, which were developed in partnership with guitarist Thomas Blug. The products are designed by an American team, based in Pasadena, California, which is composed of musicians and engineers and draws on decades of professional experience. Its lead designer, Howard Davies, was previously employed at Electro Harmonix and Pigtronix, among others. Xvive Audio's goal is to create products that deliver exceptional sound and build quality, while remaining affordable for any musician.
Any adjustments made on each module are heard exclusively by the musician using it, allowing for a perfectly tailored monitor mix during recording. Each module includes a built-in mount for easy attachment to a microphone stand, so settings can be adjusted comfortably while standing. The mic stand connection is accessed by removing the two screws on the left side of the module. Signal routing between modules is handled digitally via XLR connections, and the XVive More You Hub also features two mini-TRS ports on the back for sending and receiving MIDI data. The ADAT inputs provide further expansion options, such as connecting an external mic preamp. Power for all connected modules is supplied directly from the More You Hub, keeping the setup simple and efficient.
