The Varytec Bull 200 IP is a floodlight built for outdoor use, and with its IP65 rating, it handles temporary installations in weather-sensitive environments with ease while still delivering a strong set of high-quality features. Although officially classed as a blinder, its performance and versatility allow it to double as a strobe, and with a wide 60° dispersion angle combined with rich, beautifully homogeneous colours and smooth RGBWW mixing, it also works effortlessly as a wash light, making it far more capable than it first appears. What seems understated at a glance reveals itself in practice as a truly multi-functional lighting solution, further enhanced by creative options such as selectable dimming curves that can even replicate the behaviour of halogen spotlights.

Well designed and well made

The Varytec Bull 200 IP is equipped with a 200W 4-in-1 COB LED, which, thanks to its wide beam angle, can be used to impressively illuminate entire groups of trees right up to the treetops, façades with uplighting, and various other surfaces or objects. The device has an automatic mode, or can be controlled via DMX or Sound to Light; parameters and chases can also be operated and edited via the high-quality LCD display and touch-sensitive buttons. The spotlight is equipped with a stable, solid base, which provides a secure setup even when suspended on a rig or in a fixed installation, and an Omega bracket and a lockable Power Twist TR1 cable are included too.

IP65 rating for use outdoors

The protection rating of floodlights and similar equipment plays a key role in determining their suitability for different environments, especially when weather conditions come into play.
