Great Travel guitar

I bought the Traveler because I have gotten back into playing music and didn't want to go on holiday without an electric guitar. The instrument is beautifully built and once you get used to the small body very enjoyable to play. The neck is lovely. The built in tuner is a great feature, as is being able to plug in headphones so you don't need an amp to practice. With the kids home due to the pandemic I can just strap on my Traveler and practice scales while helping the kids with home schooling. The tone of the guitar is good but lighter/thinner/twangier than what I"m used to with my PRS (there's only one pick up at the bridge), and the tone knob doesn't change the tone as much as other guitars. However with amps and effects I'm sure you can tweak it however you like. The 4 gain levels are useful and the instrument has surprisingly impressive sustain. I travelled by plane to/from Holland and had no problems taking it as a carry on. If you need an electric guitar that you can easily travel with this is a great choice.

My current favourite guitar

I needed something that I could take with me to places, but then I fell in love with the shape and weight of the EG-1 so now it became the default guitar I reach out to at home. The humbucker sounds great, and for me it came set up pretty good out of the box. The built-in tones are not amazing but they are perfectly adequate for when I'm somewhere and want to plug in my headphones to the guitar. I love the way it looks and the build quality is also quite good.

Déçu !

Débutant en électrique et très nomade.
Difficile à accorder correctement . Nécessite plusieurs affinages .
Accords dissonants en bas du manche si pression des doigts un peu trop élevée. Débutant certes mais pas de problème d accord dissonant sur ma deuxième Guitare taille normale à 180e et pas de problème non plus sur la Guitare de mon prof . Service client contacté mais pas très disposé à prendre un peu de temps pour aider mise à part protocole classique de renvoi et video à envoyer au SAV... déçu.
Par contre, taille super pour le voyage et pas de problème note à note sur le manche .

La Traveler Guitar EG-1 Custom V2 – Gloss Black es una guitarra de viaje muy bonita, bien acabada y con una clara sensación de calidad y solidez. A pesar de su tamaño compacto, es cómoda de tocar y el sonido es bueno para su formato.
Destaca para la práctica en silencio con auriculares: el amplificador interno funciona muy bien y el AUX IN es ideal para tocar sobre backing tracks, lo que la hace perfecta para viajar y practicar por libre sin ampli.
La afinación es correcta, aunque si pasan varios días sin usarla conviene ajustarla ligeramente antes de empezar, algo normal en una guitarra pensada para transportarse.
Como apunte a tener en cuenta, el sistema está pensado para escuchar audio, no para enviar la señal de la guitarra al móvil, por lo que para usar apps que necesiten recibir audio puede ser necesario un dispositivo externo. Además, el alojamiento de las pilas se percibe algo más delicado que el resto del instrumento, que por lo demás es robusto y bien construido.
En conjunto, una muy buena guitarra de viaje, bonita, práctica y recomendable.
