A host of clever features

The Thorn Tremonator comes in a sturdy metal housing measuring 94 × 123.5 × 53mm – about the size of two standard pedals. All controls are conveniently positioned on the top of the pedal. The Symmetry control adjusts the waveform's shape, while the Multiplier control allows for precise manipulation of the tremolo speed, giving creative guitarists even more options. The Wave SIN/SQR switch offers a choice between smooth sine wave or sharp square wave tremolo for added tonal flexibility. Finally, the Tap Tempo footswitch allows the tremolo speed to be precisely synced to the song's tempo.

Transform any guitar into a synthesizer

The Thorn Tremonator transforms the traditional tremolo into a tool for creating rich, synth-like textures. Its rhythmic volume modulation mimics the pulse and movement often associated with synthesizers – whether it's generating smooth, flowing swells or crisp, staccato accents. From ambient pads to percussive sequences, the Tremonator brings that same expressive depth to guitar and other instruments with just a tap of the footswitch. When combined with delay, reverb, or modulation effects, the Tremonator easily produces layered, electronic-inspired tones that fit right into EDM, House, Techno, Dub, and Trap. With selectable sine and square waveforms and extensive control options, it offers the kind of detailed waveform shaping typically found on synth gear – making it stand out from conventional tremolo pedals.
