Just not my cup of tea
I have been playing Fender flats for years and have always been very content with them.
Because of the very promising reviews of the Thomastik strings I decided to try them out. After playing them intensively for more than a month now I conclude they are definitely not the strings for me.
Are they bad? Ofcourse not. They are ok but they sound to trebly for me. Almost like rounds and the feel reminds me of rounds.
I'll go back to my good old Fender flats 50 - 100.
For my taste they sound better an play smoother.

Gekocht om op mijn precision te zetten, daar hebben ze een jaar op gelegen tot ik kennis maakte met een ander merk flats. Deze hebben altijd goed werk geleverd, mooie klank! Maar ze zijn ingeruild voor een merk met fijnere bespeelbaarheid, deze plakken nogal in warme, vochtige ruimtes, daar heb ik bij dat andere merk geen last van en die klinken nog iets helderder ook. Helaas ga ik dus voortaan voor een ander merk.

Niet voor mijn vingers. Goede snaren maar ik ben geen fan. Iets te stroef.
