Thomann Lute Harp 22 Strings

This is the best value lute (lyre) harp I've found, from Thomann!! Let's see the pros & cons with a few words:

Pros:
Beautiful design & solid wood construction!
Wonderful sound with nice overones!
Easy to play (helps if you have played guitar!)
Included bag, tuning key, and replacement strings!

Con (only one, small, for me!)
It would help to include some tuning & string replacing instructions!

Conclusion: A wonderful instrument with a nice price, from Thomann! Highly recommended!! :-)

Recentlyi started playing publicly again and i needed a smaller instrument i could use for medieval/crossover repertoire. This was a breakout. Not only it looks good but the sound is just amazing. The dersign is very well made, sound is clear and with a lot of overtones. This with the nylon strings provided, imagine if you put good strings. The only problem is that there are no repalcement strings on the website so you have to provide them yourself and there is no tuning shceme in the bag. By the way the bag is also very handy.

This lute harp is just lovely and amazing quality at the price. Beautiful design, the string spacing is like a regular harp so very comfortable to play. It came with a nice padded carry bag, tuning wrench and a set of replacement strings. I had a small mechanical issue with one of the pins which had come loose during transport (despite very secure packaging) but this was resolved with help from the staff who responded within a few hours of me contacting Thomann. Shout out to Oskari and Piotr, thanks a million!
The harp has a lovely warm tone and with 3 octaves gives you enough scope for playing a variety of tunes and is also perfect for apartment living as it's not so loud that it will drive your neighbours mad.
I wasn't sure at first if I should buy this harp as I couldn't find replacement strings for this model for sale on the Thomann website. I contacted staff in the strings department and they said that you can order them through their department which is something that should be mentioned to potential buyers.
All being said, it's a fantastic little instrument of surprising quality at the low price and I can only recommend it.
