Thomann E-Guitar Case ABS

This case features a modern design and is made of ABS, a lightweight but very robust plastic. Compared to wooden cases, the Thomann ABS electric guitar case has the advantage of being less sensitive to moisture, e.g. during transport in the rain, in addition to which plastic is more resilient and does not break as quickly. Last but not least, ABS cases are simply lighter and therefore easier to lug around. While the case does not exude an authentic vintage flair, it is a very practical, perfectly suited to the demands of everyday use. The interior is softly padded to protect the guitar from dust and scratches during storage and also from rough knocks when on the move.

The Thomann ABS case features multiple latches that can be safely and securely locked with the two supplied keys. In addition to the guitar, two separate compartments offer ample space for a good number of accessories, alowing tremolo arms, spare strings, tuners, tools, picks, straps, and cables to be easily stowed away and prevented from flying around when the case is closed. Once the case is opened, accessories are easily accessible as they are not hidden under additional covers or behind the guitar's neck.

The Thomann ABS electric guitar case is not a moulded case, but it still offers enough space for a wide variety of designs as long as the dimensions are roughly correct. While primarily designed to store and transport ST and TE-style guitars such as Fender Stratocaster or Telecaster models, it can also fit the longer headstocks of Ibanez RG and S models. Of course, Harley Benton guitars from the TE and ST series can also be easily accommodated, as can other electric guitars of a similar design, such as the Framus Diablo and others. Players with offset guitars or models with substantially different dimensions or more sharply angled headstocks would be better off looking at other cases in Thomann's range.
