It has been a month, and the desk has still not been delivered!
The first shipment, the desk was delivered but missed parts. The backside & top side of the desk were missing (Thomann), a part of the package got damaged which led to missing screws, and one full box (containing manual & metal parts) got lost . For the latter UPS is to blame .
But as long as the missing box is not found, nothing happens! (apperently 'policy'). This meant an additional 2 weeks of waiting while nothing happened.
In the second shipment UPS keeps chaning the dates of delivery or is not delivering on the day it says. 3 big boxes (20kg+) cannot be left in front of the door, so one has to arrange time off /work from home. Although this second time is mainly a big screw-up of UPS, I am not pleased with the 'inaction' and the lack of persistence to help by Thomann. They claim 'it is out of our hands'.
Let's see how the third shipment will go...
