Good product but too high

It would have been nearly perfect if only it wasn't slightly higher than the standard 2U height.
For that reason it didn't fit into my rack where only exactly 2U was available. Had to sell it.

The unit itself is well made and built really tough. The wire gauge used inside was more than sufficient, internal connections where made properly (screw terminals on the sockets + ring terminals on the wires if I remember correctly).
There was enough room inside to add few relays or some electronics and it was easy enough to rewire for my needs.

Size issues

The unit is well-built and works well. The main issue is that the faceplate is slightly larger than the 2U standard: it's both too high and too wide by a couple of millimeters making it difficult to fit into a rack built to the standard. The result is that it overlaps units above and/or below it, and can run into issues fitting it between the rack' slides if they are flush against the rails. In my SKB rack I was forced to mount it with washers between the faceplate and the rails in order to lift it clear of the rack's edge and make sure it was in front of the other units in the rack in order to get it to fit. It works but should not have been required since there is a standard size for faceplates.

Used this Power Supply in various live and studio situations. Worked as promised - useful to connect multiple devices to a single grounded source, for example.

Very good contstruction and the best value for money.Must be the first part of your p.a. 19 inch rack! This will give you the solution at problems caused of long and many different kind of power cables.I highly recomend it as the first thing to everyone who is starting now to find equipment for 19 inch racks.Thanks

Does its job

12 power outlets do it job. Nothing more to say. Personally I would like a longer cable (the builtin is like 1m?), but this is what you cope with.

Simple and useful

I got this power supply to avoid having a separate power strip around my studio desk. I love how there's plenty of plugs at the back to power monitors, PCs, pre-amps, while there are still three plugs at the front for temporary power such as phone chargers or desktop gear that I'm not using 100% of the time.
It doesn't have a ton of features, but it doesn't need to - it does exactly what it needs to do - and that is keep my desk clean of dozens of power cables.

Good function, but quite big and heavy

Choosing between the different rack power supplies I fell for this one due to the many outlets and good power rating vs. the low price.
It's still working great - no complaints at all.
The only downside is that it takes a lot of space on the inside of the rack, when trying to fit half-deep stuff from the other side. And it's quite heavy.
If given the choice again I would buy this one again - for the price it's great, and I can live with the size and weight.

I'm very satisfied with this power supply, quality is superb, it has some weight to it, but in a good way, as it indicates that it is constructed from heavier metals. Recommended.
