My room sounds a lot better in combination with the bass traps. I had flutter, which is gone now and the bass response is a lot better (bass traps). Although the room has compromises (it is my living room) the roomsound has gained a lot. It looks very nice on my interior and is a lot cheaper than other commercial offers.
