Still worth buying it in 2026
I already had the Plethora X1, so I had the sounds.
But, to free up the Plethora for other duties, I bought the Hall Of Fame 2 (HOF2).
The HOF2 has further the advantage of having the pre-delay switch. And the knobs show the settings (all the time, the Plethora does not).
The sounds are not up to the very best, but for the price still good value (my opinion).
I use the room preset and the lofi preset the mosts.
The lofi preset from the original HOF is also interesting. I have put that in the 1st Toneprint slot.
The spring reverb sounds are not that convincing.
I use it in stereo.
The HOF2 does not create stereo. If applying the same signal to both inputs, then the 2 outputs are the same (I think, I use 2 different amps, so difficult to hear). So, just the same algorithm applied to 2 different input signals. To be clear, the output is real stereo (some other reverbs create a mono reverb signal even when using stereo inputs).
