Easy cabling and mounting

One or more the t.bone MB 85s can be connected to a stage box or mixing console – so either as a standalone unit or within a larger sound setup – using standard XLR cables (sold separately). Once connected, the microphone only requires basic level adjustment. It's important to leave adequate headroom to avoid clipping and distortion, particularly when used for vocals, which often involve dynamic volume shifts. To prevent accidental muting during use, the on/off switch can be covered with a strip of tape – a useful precaution for beginners. Betaalbaar en goed alternatief

De MB 85 microfoon wordt door mij naast een aantal SM58's regelmatig ingezet. Bevestigd op een statief, meestal in een kleine setting.

Geluidstechnisch doet deze microfoon niet onder voor een SM58. Sterker nog, in het hoog doet deze dynamische mic het wat beter dan zijn grote voorbeeld, maar is daardoor ook wel iets gevoeliger voor feedback in de hoge frequenties. Het geluid is niet schel of blikkig, maar geeft de klanken uit het vocale spectrum redelijk gebalanceerd weer.

Wat betreft de behuizing; deze is minder gedempt en maakt bij het hanteren van de mic meer geluid (of in een opvallender frequentiegebied) dan de sm58. Om mee over het podium te rennen geen goede keus, maar als vaste mic op een statief beslist een aanrader, helemaal gezien de prijs/kwaliteitverhouding. Of deze microfoon echt stuiterproof is kan ik nog niet zeggen, maar hij oogt en voelt robuust genoeg.

Voor een lage prijs een goede microfoon

Ik gebruik het als background zanger bij repetities en voor thuis. Daar voor is het oke !
Plus punten: Degelijk gebouwd, ligt goed en stevig in je hand, dwz je voelt gewicht, heeft een aan en uit knop en die ligt verzonken. Mooi midden klank en heeft voldoen body in de zangklank.
Min punten: eigenlijk heel weinig, misschien een iets te top hoog in de klank, je hoort een heel klein randje schel hoog een tikkeltje maar.
Eindconclusie: voor die lage prijs heb je gewoon een uitstekende microfoon voor zingen.

Voor ¤19,95 heb je een hele leuke microfoon!

Plus punten:
- Ligt goed in de hand
- Goede xlr aansluiting
- Robuuste aan-uit knop
- Handige meegeleverde clip voor op de standaard
- Het geluid is acceptabel voor de prijs - wel eq nodig.

Minpunten
- Er zit redelijk veel laag in
- Het hoog is soms net iets te schel
- Deze microfoon is iets kleiner dan bv. de sm58 van Shure.

Maar voor deze prijs heb ik hem gekocht en ik krijg verbaasde reacties als ik vertel dat hij zo goedkoop was.
