Housed in a classic theatre-style casing, Stairville's Octagon Theater CW/WW 36x1W incorporates traditional design with modern flexibility while allowing for floor-standing or secure truss mounting thanks to its convenient dual mounting bracket. The arrangement of 18 warm white and 18 cool white 1W LEDs inside ensures a continuously adjustable colour temperature ranging from 2,800 to 6,400 Kelvin – a spectrum that easily recreates natural ambience, from gentle evening warmth to clear daylight tones. Featuring a wide dispersion angle of 36° and governed via the built-in controls or DMX on five channels, the luminaire offers simplicity and control, while the included accessories and a lightweight 2.3kg construction round off this versatile lighting solution.

The Stairville Octagon Theater CW/WW 36x1W delivers a continuously adjustable colour temperature that replicates everything from natural daylight to warm evening ambience, which makes it easy to reliably and flexibly configure white stage lighting for smaller performance spaces. Its versatility extends to a variety of musical productions, such as shows and musicals, where the included barn door ring allows the dispersion angle to be narrowed for focused solo performances. Mobile theatres and organisers will appreciate the fact that the spotlight saves considerable space thanks to its shallow depth – it measures just 301 x 215 x 248mm. Its appeal is rounded off by its completely silent, fanless operation, making it a discreet yet highly effective lighting solution.

About Stairville
Since it was introduced in 1994, Thomann's in-house brand Stairville has been a permanent fixture in the store's product range. The brand primarily focuses on the field of stage lighting in general, and its products include spotlights, moving lights, and theatre lighting as well as smoke machines, electronic control systems, and every other accessory you can think of. Thomann constantly has around 1,600 Stairville products on offer, and the figures speak for themselves: Statistically, one in every fifteen Thomann customers owns at least one Stairville product. Incidentally, the name "Stairville" is also a catchy English translation of "Treppendorf", the town that Thomann calls home.
Cast the perfect light on small stages
Users can efficiently light a small performance area by positioning one Stairville Octagon Theatre CW/WW 36x1W on each side of the stage, creating a clear, balanced setup controlled via a compact five-channel lighting console for smooth dimming and quick blackouts. LED spotlights do not require a dimmer pack, so installation remains straightforward: The console is connected to the first unit via a three-pin XLR cable and then to the second, while the power cables are best secured with strain reliefs for complete safety. Once both units are set to DMX start address A001 via the built-in controls, full access to faders one to five is available, allowing for quick adjustment once the spotlights are positioned with the barn doors open. By raising the dimmer on fader five and mixing the first two channels, the desired colour temperature is achieved, while the third channel provides variable-speed strobe effects for subtle creative accents.
