The LED Flood Panel 150 40° RGB from Thomann's Stairville brand is an attractively priced LED unit for wide-area lighting that can stand on its own two feet – or rather brackets. Unique in its price range, it features an extra-flat housing and is also free-standing thanks to its multifunctional double bracket, which means the unit can either be placed on the floor or suspended from a truss. The Flood Panel’s power outlet allows it to supply power to an additional light unit, which means you can drastically reduce the number of mains sockets required by “daisy-chaining” multiple lights. A power cable is included with each unit. The LED Flood Panel can be operated in different ways, and a remote control is available separately for those who prefer this option.

Floods of colour

The Stairville LED Flood Panel 150 40° RGB features 150 LEDs, each with the fixed colours red, green, and blue. As its name indicates, it has a beam angle of 40°, which allows wide-area illuminations of walls, backgrounds, and large displays. With a width of 260mm, a height of 210mm, and a depth of only 68mm, its design is surprisingly flat and sleek, and each unit weighs just 1.8kg. The LED Flood Panel can be operated in stand-alone mode via four rear-mounted menu buttons located below its display or via DMX in three, four, or eight-channel mode. The three-pin DMX input and corresponding output are located next to the display, as are the IEC sockets for the mains input and power output. The LED Flood Panel offers ten pre-programmed light shows, music control, a master-slave mode, a strobe function and, last but not least, the option of mixing the colours of your choice.

A master of quick changes

The Stairville LED Flood Panel 150 40° RGB is ideal for clubs, bars and restaurants, artists and promoters on tour, and of course house parties. Thanks to its wide-angle beam, the floodlight can bathe entire walls or backgrounds in brightly coloured light, completely transforming their appearance. What is more, the unit takes up very little space and is simple to operate. To use the LED Flood Panel with the corresponding IR remote control, there must be a clear line of sight between the remote control and the front panel of the unit, since the sensor is located in its centre. When on tour, the sturdy metal housing provides good protection during transport. To instantly turn your living room into a party venue, simply position the unit on the floor and let its wide-area lighting do the rest – no installation required.

If you are more design-oriented, you can connect the floodlights using DMX cables and assign them to a dedicated lighting console with a shared DMX address. During the course of the evening, new colours can be blended in, the rhythm of the programmed transformations changed, and the sensitivity of the built-in microphone modified to match the sound volume in the room when using the music control option.

Voor het geld een prima Flood

Voor het geld een prima Flood. Je niet verwachten dat een fixture van 4 tientjes hetzelfde kan en doet als een 2 keer duurdere broertje..

Wel even oppassen in welke modus je de fixtures zet... Als je op het maximaal aantal kanalen zet, en stuurt met minder kanalen aan dan gebeuren er rare dingen...

In mijn geval gebruik ik ze als 4 ch.. rood, blauw, groen en dimmer.. Dan werken ze probleemloos en makkelijk.

Goede hanleidinglezen als je meer channels gata gebruiken.. er staat precies wat het doet maar de bedienning met DMX word er dan niet eenvoudiger op en is een royale stuurtafel wel handig...

Ikzelf stuur ze aan met DMX en Freestyler en een Behringer USB tafel Werkt als een dolle.. Echt een aanrader op die manier..

Had eerst twee aangeschaft maar ik ben zo tevreden dat ik mijn lichtplan heb aangepast en er nog vier bij heb gekocht.

Ideaal voor een kleine band of zo die vooral speelt op wat kleinere podia. Door de 40° bundel net even wat breder op relatief korte afstand. Ik gebruik er 4, met op elk statief twee en licht de linkerkant van het podium uit met het statief rechts en vice versa, om zo optimale belichting te krijgen. Zonder externe aansturing, gewoon één van de 10 programma's aanzetten, uitlichten en niet meer naar omkijken. Na afloop opbergen in een oude basgitaarkoffer, incl. bar en bekabeling! :)
Bij bestellen even een aantal 240V doorlus-kabels mee bestellen en misschien een lange powerkabel. Ook bij Thomann zeer betaalbaar, zelf maken is niet nodig of rendabel!
Werkt perfect!

Prima afwerking en lichtopbrengst

Deze worden bij mij op een vaste plaats gebruikt en deze hangen verder uit elkaar, men kan ze ook heel goed als uplicht nuttigen om de zaal een prachtig sfeer te geven.
Maar voor de discobar gebruik ik toch liever mijn stairville CLB2.4 Compact LED Par System, omdat deze vlug opgebouwd is en gemakkelijk te bedienen met de optionele remote en veilig om mee te nemen in de bijgeleverde koffer, de keuze is aan u, succes.

Prima lamp, beetje groot en vooraanzicht is niet erg mooi

De lamp is wat groter dan op de foto's lijkt. Mooi plat met stevige standaard. Afstandsbediening (niet meegeleverd) werkt prima.
Kleuren zijn ook aardig, net iets minder mooi omdat de leds door het formaat aardig verspreid zitten. Hierdoor krijg je niet zo mooie patronen op het panel omdat er wel goed nagedacht is over de kleurmix.
Geluidsgevoeligheid: je kan hem niet erg gevoelig zetten. In een grotere zaal met weinig volume heb je hier niet zoveel aan.
Algemeen: lekker plat, goed over nagedacht, niet zo geschikt voor ons.
