De iconische 55SH Series II met zijn onmiskenbare UNIDYNE® II-ontwerp is al meer dan 60 jaar een symbool voor podium en show. De microfoon, die de nostalgie van de jaren 50 en 60 combineert met de moderne convertertechnologie, is bij uitstek geschikt voor vocale uitzendingen met zijn typische Shure-presentie. Dankzij de cardioïde eigenschap isoleert de 55SH Series II de signaalbron zeer effectief tegen binnenkomend geluid van achteren, zodat er nauwelijks een risico op feedback in de buurt van luidsprekers is. De 55SH Series II kan ook worden gebruikt in ongunstige akoestische omstandigheden waar omnidirectionele microfoons niet kunnen worden gebruikt.

De lage impedantie, gebalanceerde uitgang van de 55SH Series II is geschikt voor aansluiting op microfooningangen van 75 tot 300 ohm. De microfoon is uitgerust met een schokdemper tegen impactgeluid, een aan / uit-schakelaar en een geflensde, instelbare warteladapter. De 55SH Series II is ideaal voor versterking van PA- of theatergeluid, uitzendingen en televisieproducties, studio-opnamen en andere audiotoepassingen waarbij een microfoon met een klassiek ontwerp gewenst is.

The 55SH-II features a dynamic transducer with an output of 1.3mV/Pa and a frequency range of 50Hz – 15kHz. The cardioid polar pattern mitigates sound pickup from the rear of the microphone, which allows the 55SH-II to be used in close proximity to speakers without creating feedback problems. To minimise handling noise and other low-frequency interferences, the capsule is mounted on a vibration damper. Additionally, the microphone is equipped with a self-tensioning stand mount, which offers tilt adjustments of up to 45 degrees forward and 80 degrees backward for enhanced positioning flexibility.

The Shure 55SH Series II's frequency response is intentionally non-linear to enhance vocal reproduction. To mitigate the proximity effect, the bass frequencies are slightly reduced, ensuring that vocals maintain a balanced sound even when singers are performing close to the microphone. While there is a noticeable dip between 0.3 and 1kHz, the presence range is greatly emphasised, with a prominent peak between 6 and 7kHz, resulting in greater clarity and presence. Additionally, the treble range is affected by diffraction effects in the microphone's housing, causing level and phase shifts that contribute to its unique sound signature.

DAS Classic MIC für gehobene Ansprüche!

Wer auch immer mit legendärer Musik auftritt, sollte die richtige Optik nicht verpassen! Ein richtiger Live Auftritt erfordert immer auch ein gewisses optisches Flair, das nur mit entsprechender Ausstattung zur Geltung kommt.

Leider musste man hierbei immer einen Kompromisss eingehen zwischen Originalität und Klangqualität. Dank der Entwicklung des Shure SH 55 SH II sind diese Zeiten nun vorbei. Ein derart problemloses Mikrophon, speziell was den Einsatz unter schlechtan akustischen Bedingungen ausmacht, ein Mikrophon das sich nur mutwillig rückkoppeln lässt ist nur sehr schwer zu finden - Dazu kommt der phänomenale optische Auftritt, der jeden Live-Auftritt für alle Beteiligten zum Erlebnis werden lässt! Ein Muss für jeden Live-Gourmet!

Ich liebe das Mikrofon

Ich habe zwar erst einmal mit dem Mikro geübt, finde es aber jetzt einfach genial. Neben dem einfach supa coolem Design klingt es auch sehr gut, es ist sehr rubust und mit Rückkopplung hat man echt weniger Probleme als mit einem Shure SM 58 oder einem AKG d-5, die wir auch im Proberaum haben. Es ist nur ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig dass das Mikro am Ständer fest ist, aber wenn man einen coolen Ständer hat, will man sowieso nicht davon weg ;D

Nicht nur Vintage-Look, sondern auch guter Sound

Auch Oldie-Bands brauchen nicht nur einen Oldie-Look, sondern einen guten Sound. Dieses Mikro bringt beides zusammen. Nicht nur, dass nach jedem Gig ein Lob für die passende Optik ausgesprochen wird, sind wir auch sehr zufrieden mit dem Sound dieses Mikros.

Einziger kleiner Nachteil scheint mir jedoch zu sein, dass mann beim Singen schon sehr nah heran muss, oder eben den Level sehr weit hochziehen muss.

Alles in Allem aber ein gelungenes Mikro.

Nicht nur ein Eyecatcher, sondern auch ein klangliches Schmankerl! Hatte ich doch Skepsis hinlänglich der Rückkopplungen,war ich dann umso mehr überrascht das dem doch nicht so war.Gute Verarbeitung und ein absolut cleaner Sound, den man von Shure erwartet.

Macht riesigen Spaß mit dem Mic zu hantieren.Der Preis für die kleine Sensation ist die "Sensation"!! Wenn ihr Lust habt eure Band und euer Publikum zu kitzeln , dann ist das Shure SH55 das richtige Instrument.
