The Shure Broadcast Boom Arm positions a microphone exactly where it needs to be – at mouth height, cables out of sight, and the desktop clear – without the footprint of a floor stand. Made by Gator for Shure under licence, it extends to 940mm with full 360° rotation and clamps securely to desks or tables up to 55mm thick. Finished in black powder-coated steel with Shure’s distinctive fluorescent-green logo, it looks every bit as professional as the microphones it’s designed to support. A threaded extension adapter provides the additional clearance needed for the XLR connectors used by larger broadcast microphones such as the SM7B, SM7dB, MV7, and MV7+. With a 2kg load capacity, it comfortably supports Shure's largest broadcast microphones and other comparable models.

Built for the session
The coil springs on the Shure broadcast Boom Arm keep movement quiet and controlled, so performers can reposition it mid-session without transferring unwanted mechanical noise to the microphone – particularly useful when recording, streaming, or broadcasting live. Three sturdy adjustment knobs lock each pivot securely once the desired position has been reached, ensuring even heavier broadcast microphones remain stable over time. An integrated cable channel with retaining clips routes XLR or USB cables neatly along the arm, keeping both the workspace and the microphone setup tidy. Compatible with both US and Euro microphone thread standards, the arm integrates easily into almost any professional recording or broadcast setup.

About Shure
