Shadow SH 945 NFX Violin Pickup

I have had a lot of experience with pickups and this one, in my opinion is not only an economic option but competes with the so called best. There are two disadvantages though: 1) if you leave the pickup strip under your bridge you need to entangle the short cable between the strings on the side of your tailpiece and 2) the screwed clamp doesn't necessarily fit comfortably on the violin (most definitely when it needs to struggle over space with the shoulder rest rubbers). But for me, the benefit outweighs the disadvantages by orders of magnitude.
