Roland TR-1000

I left a review on Thomann previsouly about the TR1000 as it did not quite click with me. I did not sell it, ,kept it. Moved studio’s and gave it a 2nd chance. And came back here to do another review. I dived DEEP into the TR1000 and have to say that I love it now. Its not a hands on machine like a TR909 (or any one from that family), HOWEVER, if you take your time and let her land slowly it turns out to be one hell of a machine. The last update (with the keyboard function so you can play notes) makes it complete.

I do stick with my initial statement that this machine is not for everyone, its “Elektron style “complex, and equally quirky what the GUI Goes on but in a different way (Sweden vs Japan i guess). I do get Some freezes when using the sampling function from time to time. But thats it.
