A proper home for those pedals

Measuring 522 x 236mm (L x D), the RockBoard TRES 3.1 provides space for five to ten effects pedals, which can be arranged across two rows. All pedals are easily accessed and operated by foot courtesy of the 10° angled board surface. Produced from cold-rolled aluminium sheet, the board's robust yet lightweight (approximately 1.2kg) construction can more than endure the rigours of life on tour. The black powder coating not only looks cool but is also resistant to external influences. A unique feature of the RockBoard pedalboard is the slot system, which allows pedals to be mounted with a single click. The RockBoard TRES 3.1 also features suitable slots or ports for connecting other accessories, such as power supplies and LED lights, and comes in a robust gig bag with sufficient quantities of self-adhesive hook and loop tape.

Creating space and order

As a player's pedal collection increases, so does the tangled weave of power and patch cables, where achieving a neat and space-saving pedal setup seems nigh on impossible. This is where the pedalboard comes in bringing order to the user's effects pedal arrangement. The necessary power supply can be mounted underneath the board, with "underground" cable routing. The pedals themselves can be securely fastened in parallel using hook and loop tape or the click system. RockBoard's ultra-flat and flexible patch cables will also prove helpful here. The TRES 3.1 is ideal for guitarists and bassists who prefer a smaller number of pedals, but also serves perfectly as a "second board", providing essential effects at home or for recording sessions.

Absolutely Great!!!

Had to move from a 1 meter large double layer pedalboard with some 20 units on board, to a very minimal setup (Wah, Overdrive, Chorus, Reverb, Delay). I wanted something compact, solid and clean.
This along with the patch bay from rockboard was perfect. My pedalboard now is small, clean and I love the fact that I don't have to plug directly to the pedals but to the patch bay!!!!

Beste pedalboard ooit

Heb ondertussen een stuk of 5 verschillende pedalboards geprobeerd en dit is veruit de beste. Hij is licht, makkelijk in te delen en de slot voor een patchbay is super tof. Ook komt deze met een fijne, stevige tas.

Ik heb hem een tijdje en was zeer tevreden. Licht en hanteerbaar maarrrrr...... de tas is het zwakke punt hij begint uit scheuren op verbindingspunten door het transporteren van de board.

Received my Tres 3.1 last week, spent the weekend setting it up.
I brought it as I think it occupies a niche in the pedal board market which hasn't really been filled yet (deeper and with more space under that pedaltrain metro equivalents, but not as big a a classic junior size).
Pros: - The pedal board itself is good, solid and the middle support aids its solidity.
- easy to organise cabling
Cons: - the top and bottom rows of the pedal board are not wide enough to put 25mm loop tape on, and there is not enough supplied to attach anyway. The implication is you only attach to the middle four 25mm rows. To maximise pedal purchase and space i've bought extra tape but had to cut it out from the holes to keep it looking head and the tape sticking firmly.
- Attaching the "Tray" to hold the power supply is not possible with my Decibel 11 Hotstone deluxe. The power supply is to tall. Therefore I had to attach it using dual-lock. However it was still sticking out too much and I had to raise the front feet of the board so that its not resting on the power supply.
Also one of the rubber feet ripped off when raising the feet.
I like the board, however it's definitely not perfect.
