Pedalboard set with multi power supply

The Palmer Pedalbay 60 PB Ped Bay + PSU is a pedalboard set that comprises a Palmer Pedalbay 60 board and the matching Palmer WT PB 60 multi power supply unit. The height-adjustable Pedalbay is made from aluminium and, despite measuring a little over 30cm x 60cm, weighs just 4.2kg. The WT PB 60 Powerbar is relatively easy to install – simply remove the rear rail of the pedalboard and insert the power supply unit in its place. And to allow players to get started right away, the scope of delivery also includes the corresponding mains power adapter, a complete set of cables, two black elastic bands, and the requisite hook-and-loop fastening tape.

Eight power outlets, no ground loops

The Palmer WT PB 60 features an impressive eight power outlets and thereby allows several devices to be powered from a single mains socket without causing ground loops. Six of these outlets supply 9V direct current at a maximum of 300mA each, while the other two can be switched between 9, 12, and 18V at a maximum of 500mA each. Alongside the ON/OFF switch, the rear side of the power supply unit features a series of LEDs – a main power LED to indicate that the unit is ready for use and individual operating status LEDs for each of the power outlets.

This Palmer pedalboard set is great for guitarists and bassists who are searching for a practical way to accommodate and power their collection of effect pedals. The set is also extremely easy to transport thanks to the gig bag included in the scope of delivery, which comes complete with a carrying handle and shoulder strap, and the whole ensemble weighs less than five kilos. The resulting combination spells an end to chaotic cable jams for professional musicians who perform regularly as well as for amateurs who have ambitions of getting on stage or who have simply accumulated a large number of effect pedals in their home studio or living room.

Robust, light, and cascadable

The sturdy aluminium construction of the Palmer Pedalbay 60 and the Palmer WT PB 60 with their anodised, powder-coated surfaces will stand up not only to home and rehearsal room use but also to the rigours of touring and gigging without wear and tear becoming apparent too quickly – all the more so thanks to the included gig bag, which allows the pedalboard set to be safely transported from one gig to the next. The five 16cm and nine 60cm DC cables included in the scope of delivery each have one straight and one angled connector and provide ample flexibility for installing a wide variety of pedals. And if more than eight power outlets are needed, the setup can also be expanded by connecting a second Powerbar to the dedicated output socket, thus also eliminating the need for a second mains connection and extra cables.

This item costs a little more than your standard pedalboard, but it is definitely worth it. The hidden PSU is a great touch and allows for easy portability, discretion when on stage and saves space for more pedals on the board itself. Highly recommend.

Merece la pena el precio con lo que te ahorras en tiempo y en espacio, muy recomendable para montajes rápidos en los escenarios, siempre que lleves al menos 6 o 7 pedales, creo que para menos no merece mucho la pena, ya que hay opciones más reducidas.
