Origin Effects Cali76 V2 Bass Compressor

After a long period of wondering which bass compressor I should buy, and after debating whether the Cali76 really was that good as everyone seemed to say, I finally decided to make the investment.
And wow… this is such a great piece of equipment!
It’s built like a tank, yet it’s surprisingly easy to use. It shapes and polishes the tone beautifully, smooths out unwanted peaks and clipping, and evens out the overall sound. At the same time, it can make the bass sound punchy and responsive when you need it.
The responsiveness is excellent, and the versatility this compressor offers is enormous. My passive Jazz Bass finally cuts through the mix so well, while still sounding natural and full.
It’s almost impossible to make your bass sound bad with this compressor. Whether you want a smooth, controlled tone or something more punchy and dynamic, the Cali76 delivers.
I’m honestly very happy with this pedal. After all the doubts and research, I can say it was absolutely worth the investment.
This pedal is here to stay.
