OK, who expects a very long and detailed review will be disappointed.
it sounds exactly the way I expected it to sound and bought for. The preamp section is great and honestly, the clean switch is a worthless extra. I mean, if you want a clean sound, you don't buy Orange.
The handling is super: light, compact and the bag gives also great portability.
For being an Orange product, it is quite full of features; pity that a very useful one, the output for the tuner, is not there. Please, take the clean switch back and give me the tuner output!
Quality-wise I have no issues -as a matter of fact, it seems built under the highest standard. But I was convinced that this one is made in UK. I found that piece of info under the Orange website (no more, now they changed it), and it was confirmed by the people at Musik Produktiv (I should have asked Thomann, instead, but I tested this amp at the Musik Produktiv store in Ibbenbüren). Either it was like that, and now they changed, or it has always been manufactured in China, I wrote to Orange a message of complain, that they ignored completely. Not even a consolation word. As a customer, I have the power to let the others hearing my voice. In saying loud and clear that I'd never give a negative review to a very good piece of equipment, I wanted to highlight my disappointment nonetheless, and thus I'm giving 3 stars for the quality.
