Master-tone!
As my solderings- sills are quite limited I was really pleased to see this harness on offer with Thomann.
I always found the standard Strat controls w/o tone control for the bridge pick up a bit lacking. Especially since I use in the bridge a Dimarzio FS-1 that needs a bit of taming.
This harness gives me the master tone-control I want and I am very happy with it. I use a Bare Knuckle True Grit for the neck, a OEM pick up with reverse phase for the middle and the FS1 in the bridge position.
With this I can go from mellow to sting in whatever pick up combination.
A bit like on a Tele but with the Strat-type sound-palette.
With the blender it is possible to use all 3 pick ups simultaneously and blend in any possible combination between bridge and neck with or without engaging the middle.
Installation takes only a pair of fine strip-pliers and a small screw-driver and a bit of patience: read the manual;-)
If I would be considering buying anohter strat(-project), this will be installed straight away!
